8 Jan 2014, 3pm AEST.   I too, am in AU, and had a 'Missed Call' from +12535079839  .. noting it was International/US I wasn't about to return the call as all my US contacts are stored in my phone & this came up without a name.  So I Googled  the number - apparently belongs to Absolute Marketing 2012, in Phoenix  AZ ...   there are a couple of forums listing SCAM complaints from this company, and several lodged with US' BBB site...   I have recieved several marketing calls from the US over the last ? 6mths particularly, and beit male/female telemarketer, they have always started out stating that I contacted their company regarding 'work/work from home' blah blah blah .. and mostly I just say 'No I didn't, this is a silent number where did you get it?'  .and 'do you realise you are phoning AUSTRALIA and it is the middle of the night over here?' .. and again, of course they DONT know.   . I also plug them with the 'do you know it is illegal to make unsolicited phone calls to AU numbers who are listed with the Government's nationsl 'Do Not Call' Register, and that this, my number, IS listed on that Register?' ... of course they don't.   I always ask for my number to be removed from their marketing lists but of course, plainly that hasn't happened.

I'm in AU and got a Callback that I'd missed a call from +2535079839 .. did a Google and found this forum...   I've had a number of phone calls from a US telemarketing service over the last 6mths.. I don't know if it's this Phoenix place, but I keep telling them I'm in AU and to remove my number from their marketing lists...

I live in Australia and I just recieved a call from this number a woman asking for me by name saying she was from Amazon and Google? and I have a silent number, never bought any of the previous mentioned products and not to mention she was extremly arrogant and rude when I asked who the hell it was as i had a silent number. WTH. 2535079839 was def the number on ID check.

I also received those kind of calls the past.two weeks.. its very annoying  what to do?? I dont have idea from where the H.... those people took my number.

Over the past 2 weeks, I suddenly started receiving a TON of spam calls from several different phone numbers and several different companies.  I finally started answering the phone and asking 20 questions to each spammer.  Finally, one fessed up and asked if I recently purchased LIMU from anyone.  When I said yes, he said that LIMU sells the phone numbers to them.  Ever since finding out the source, I've questioned every call that I get about LIMU selling my number, and so far I've had 2 more companies fess up.  I have not received repeat phone calls from each place I request to be put on the DO NOT CALL list.  My point here is - if you've bought this LIMU vitamin seaweed drink from any of your friends or family, BEWARE - they sell your phone number.  LIMU makes their profit from selling YOUR phone number, not from the great magical powers from their vitamin drink.  

In my career, I HAVE to answer my phone because it is my work number and personal cell phone number.  I do not have a choice to just "ignore" unless it is a 1-800 #.  So for me, this is extremely frustrating to suddenly be receiving about 10-15 extra spam calls a day.

These people will ring ur number constantly when ask to be taking off their list they call from other numbers its getting ridiculous

9/97 10:34  This is now bordering on harassment.  3rd call in 3 days, again as in last time, no message just dead air on voicemail.  This number is now blacklisted, fed up with the garbage we have to go thru just keep our own phone number.

9/05 10:15 no ID I don't answer but whoever this is asked for me by first name as if I should know them.  Hate when that happens.  If I know them they should identify themselves and stop trying to con me, but I guess that's just too much to expect.

I just emailed my Representative and Senator to get an agency to prosecute these annoying callers. I asked them to get rid of the do not call agency as that is  where these cats are getting our numbers. I would like to get some help so lets all get to our representatives to get rid of this problem.

I have been getting calls from about 10 or 12 different numbers, for about a week now. I do not answer, or have not answered yet but I will try what a friend told me about. See below! But before talking to my friend, what I did, was add them to my contact list, as DO NOT ANSWER1, NOT ANSWER2, and so on.

I was told by a well educated computer person friend, that if you answer, then just hit the # or * key on your phone many times, it will scatter the number in their system.

In short it screws up your number in their system, and when the computer trys to call you back, it can't, because your number now has # or * in it.

I don't understand how it works, and don't care. But it is worth a try!

It's just because you filled their form on the net to get information regarding their offer for making money online.  I did the same and believe me, I am sure its scamming too.  But, they don't get your name and phone number without having filled their form online.

This number keeps calling, Im saying hello, and they dont say anything.... Then they hang up!

hmm, so december of 2012 it was a female and january this year it was a male caller... interesting. i woder if its some kind of google voice number or something.

i just had a missed call from this number about an hour and a half ago, then put it on my blocked caller list and seen it called again 20 minutes ago. i think i want to unblock the number and pick up if it calls again, just out of curiosity.

I got the same call today 4/26/2013 at 12:23pm.
I just let my machine pick it. No message just hang up.
However I put them on call blocking.

This number called me. And when I answered it the guy said hello and hung the phone up on me. I thought that was weird. Beware I believe this is a spam number.

I have received numerous calls from this number at all times of the day and night.  No message is ever left and when I answer there is no one there and then it disconnects.

Receive 2 calls today and 1 yesterday but I didn't answer

This number was ID'ed on my phone today.  It was some guy with an Asian accent who asked for me by name.  Tried to sell me a web-site service for a home based business that I don't have or want.  How he got my name and number is a mystery to me.  My number is unlisted and it is also on the national do not call list.  Seems like scammers to me.

They've called everyday fOr several days. Didn't answer.

Got called twice from this number. Managed to pick it up the second time and it sounded like a party in the background. It was a female on the other line. I said hello, she said "Guess you still have a girlfriend." and then she hung up. Idk if that helps, but the most I can say is that it's a female.
