Hmmmmm.......Dish Network?  I wonder if they could possibly be doing a box check on their satellite equipment, so when people answer the machine doesn't know what to do?

This number has called at least once a day for several days now. When I answer they never say anything.  Another "Who Called" site has comments saying it's telemarketing from Dish Network, but I can't find any proof that it's them. Telemarketing is illegal in my state and I'm on the Federal Do Not Call List. None of that seems to do any good.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Very Annnoying. Whomever is behind this should be prosecuted.

We have been receiving calls from this number about 6 times a day for the past several weeks.  My wife answered and they asked her for the man of the house after she berated them to stop calling.  I got on and asked to speak to the man of the business but they just sat there silent.  They were definitely foreign as they had an accent.  I just filed a complaint at the above link as well.

I have been getting multiple calls as well.  I have a friend who answers these kinds of calls, and then puts the phone down so the caller will run up airtime on his/her bill.  I don't know if that would really be the effect, but if we ALL do it, maybe it would add up and discourage the caller?

This number has called my father's home twice today (he's a senior citizen) and they ask if he had money and was able to write them a check...what jerks!!!!!

They keep calling, when I answer the phone they ask to speak to someone (garbled name) I say you have the wrong number and hang up.  They won't leave a message when I don't pick-up.  I am on the do not call list. I hope Obama continues the do not call list the Bush administaion put in place.

Yes is a telemarketer from Dish Network... they called me today. I refused him.

Phone rang about 3 times at 4:21 pm.  I answered and no one replied.  Very aggravating!  I too am on the do not call list.

They are calling every day and sometimes twice a day.  No one there.  How do we stop them?

I get calls from this number everyday, the wake up my sleeping child, and hang up when I answer. I going to file a complainy with the BBB today.

This is Satellite Technologies and they have phoned me many times over the past week. I have spoken to them in person twice telling them I do NOT want their product and to please take me off their call list.  They just phoned me again 1-10 at 2:27 p.m. and left no message... I got their call back and phoned them... after two phone calls I reached a fella who told me it was Satellite Technologies.  I told him again I do not want any more calls or I would be reporting them to Arizona State.

I just started getting calls from this number today. 2 so far. I have had similiar calls like this before and I have comcast for phone service and I just blocked that number from calling. If you have comcast phone go to their website and it will show you how to block a number. I am going to do it to this number right now.

I would like to find the telemarketing company!!

I'm encountering the same problem (calls come from this number, but no one says anything), only the issue has been going on for at least 6 weeks.  It's getting really old...

This number has called several times in the last few days. No one ever says anything when I answer.

Call me over and over...I'm sick of it.  They called me yesterday (Sunday)....bastages.

I received four calls from this number today.  Each time I answered the phone and each time they hung up.  The calls woke up my teething child from a nap.  I am not happy.  I plan to block the number with my phone company.

I encourage everyone who is receiving multiple "dead calls" per day and/or "live calls", even after informing the person that you are on the "Do No Call List" and asking that your number from their list, to file a complaint with the FCC. When we answer the phone there is no one there or we get a person with a thick accent who asks us about the number of televisions in our house and who our cable or satellite provider is. Both my husband and myself have told the individual we are on the "Do Not Call List" and asked to be removed from their calling list immediately and receive no further contact from them. We have gotten two responses: one is the caller immediately hanging up; the other is the caller saying "okay", then hanging up. He then calls again the very next day.
