caller ID says the news tribune

they were told before to not contact us but they keep calling - today they actually left a message - no way will I answer them

I am sick of getting these phones calls several times during the day! If I wanted the paper I would call them, how do you get off their computer calls????

This number 253-597-8626 calls like 4 or 5 times a day and have been for moths now. They never leave a message and it is so annoying! Looked the number up on google and said it was The Tacoma News Tribune. Stop calling me!!

The Olympian is owned by the Tacome News Tribune now.

I did a trial subscription to the Tacoma News Tribune two months ago and then I cancelled.  Now they call me 2-3 times/day.  I've told them no, no and hell no but they just keep calling.

So irritating. they call and never leave a message! Call back and get a busy signal.

Stupid Tacoma News Tribune.  They are relentless and harassing and don't give up!

Called me 5 times today, never left a message, when called back is just a busy tone. With enough complaints can we get a cease and desist? creditors don't spam people this much....

Why doesn't the "no call list" apply to Tacoma News Tribune?

I have received 2 or 3 phone calls from Tacoma News Tribune in the last week or so, each time asking them to stop calling. I have been on the do not call list since August 2011. Why would they think I would want to buy from them as rude as they are calling me all the time.

The call everyday just like everyone else...
I don't owe them money, I don't have a subscription. I cannot even get the paper delivered where I live and they are aware of that. I have asked them to take my number off their list. Beware now though because I also am getting a call from another number trying to sell me the Olympian (worse paper!!!) and I blew my lid and told them never to call my number again and they have not. But this number just won't stop.

it appears this caller is the Tacoma News Tribune.  I am a former subscriber, I cancelled a couple years ago.  In the months that followed my cancellation they hounded me relentlessly, for the first time in months it appears they have called me again.  What a nuisance.

I keep getting calls at all hours of the day. I used to get a telemarketer calling trying to suscribe me to The Tacoma News Tribune, but told I was not interested.  I am still getting calls even I have more than once requested that they stop calling me. What can I do?

I answered multiple calls with no one on the line. Finally spoke to a telemarketer and said I don't want the paper. Continued to get calls... All hang ups. Called the number back and spoke to a telemarketer to have my name & number removed from the call list. She said she did. Still getting calls. Sick of these idiots!

they are not trying to be rude.  They are only trying to make a sales to support there families etc.  They are
trying to turn your no into a yes that is there job if they didn't try they would make no money on there
paychecks.  they are not our there to scam you.  I know some telemarketers who make good money the honest way and by doing there job the way they have been trained.  There is good money in telemarketing.
If you want on the do not call list ask the caller to take you off the list and that company won't call any more.  The caller you ask to put on the DNC can't stop other companies from calling only there company
they are working from the caller does not communicate with the other companies that call you.  They can only take you off there list.  understand they are just trying to make a living

That's how they suck you in. The paper isn't worth the price, especially because it comes with an all inclusive, non-stop phone calls. Just because you're a customer does not mean they will stop calling, and if you dare unsubscribe, they will NOT leave you alone until you resubscribe or change your phone number. Worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure to see!

I've been receiving these phone calls since I cancelled my subscription over a year ago. I've sent them nasty emails and spoken with Managers to have it removed from their list. If you do this and the phone calls stop, DON'T get your hopes up. Mine did to, for about 6 months and now they call me 3 times a day. It's harassment and it's illegal, just nobody is willing to speak up to the authorities. Do Not Call lists don't work with them either. They will still call you until you inform them yourself that you are on the Do Not Call list and will report them if they continue. Honestly, don't give them a warning. Yes, they're that desperate. Their paper is horrible and they know it. Unless you speak up, the only way to get them to stop is to change your phone number. Sorry, but I've been dealing with this for two years now. They somehow ALWAYS find you and they're very rude if you do talk to them.

They called me one time in the afternoon, probably around 4. I was skeptical of who they were because they were offering me a really good deal. I told them I needed to speak to my fiance and if I could call them back. She said the offer would only last if I paid for it now. It was 26 weeks of daily papers+Sunday for 1$ a week. So I asked them how would I know they weren't some scanner just calling for my CC number. Turns out they were the TNT, from looking up the number online, and I didn't get screwed but rather ended up getting a really good deal of 26$ for 26 weeks when before I was debating on getting the Sunday paper at 20$ for 13 weeks that they offer online. If they call around the date this message is posted, 10/21/11 then answer, it may be a really good deal.

They probably have the wrong # & are looking for someone else if debt collector.
