I keep getting calls from this number I never answer since I am at work. Plus my phone is set not to let calls come thru unless they are in my contact list. After reading this. It make me happy I didn't fall for this guys crap.

This Phone Number Called me and a Women with an accent was saying that my computer was unable to receive something I don't know who it was but I am sure that it was a scam.

This number tried calling me several times. I didn't ever answer it because I didnt know who it was. Well today I actually answered it and I could barelly understand what the woman was saying because she had a strong Indian accent. She was asking me If I knew that my computer was sending out an error relating to windows update and that she wanted me to go online with her on the phone and fix it. I asked her who she was affiliated with or what company she was calling from. She rambled something that I didn't understand that I had to have her repeat 3 times. Something about her being from or calling for microsoft. I had no intention of dealing with this woman until I found out if this was legitimate. I told her I was in my car and not near my computer and to call me back in an hour. I then got on this website by typing the number in search. I read all of the other peoples stories about this number and realized it was a scam as I had suspected. Right after I finished reading all of this the same woman called me back and asked, "Are you near your computer now Ma'am?" I then hung up on her and she hasn't called back. Funny thing was she called from a different number this time. The number was 435-764-6116

they keep calling all day everyday but as soon as i pick up they hang up. how do i get them to stop calling??

Thes ppl said they frm Mcrosft.  Updates unable to load and wnted remote access.  I had hrd of ths scam.  I tld thm I wsnt givn em access and they said "Oh no no just go to ur comptr and do these thngs"  well in the end they wre tryn to get access.  Total Scam!

Sticky keyboard, be carefull of people trying to get on your computer for personal information. It is sad that they can not get an honest job like everyone else instead of pulling scams

My husband got a car about something is wrong with his computer and that they needed to fix it via remote control. He told them off good as he is a computer tech and knows that Microsoft would never have your number to call you and he owns an Applebook Pro. They are crazy if folks will fall for that mess.

Indian guy had been calling me for about a week from (253) 683-4810 early in the morning. Finally answered the phone and he was telling me that he was from some tech support and that I need to upgrade something on my computer and that he would walk me through the steps. Told the guy it sounded like a scam and hung up. He tried to call again but I didn't answer. Looked into the number and its a fake. Had the number blocked by my service provider.

"John" from some technical support company stated that my windows from my computer called them because it was broken. So I let him go on for a bit and then unleashed a barrage of profanity laden insults at him. At the end he said he was sorry for bothering me. I'm sure the bozo will forget and call in a few days with a new scam... they always do...

Man with a thick Indian accent called saying he from Microsoft. That's all I heard because I hung up! Obviously a scam.

I keep getting a call from 253.683.4810 number everyday for the last couple of weeks not sure what is going on but I see I am not the only one who is getting calls from this number...So I will know what to say from now on..I hate when people do this...

3rd call from East India man trying to tell me my computer has a problem and he needs to fix it. Made another complaint to the FCC .

Look, I got a phone call from this number 6 times in one day, the last time I picked up and the person on the other end had a real  Strong Indian accent  he told me that I had been awarded a grant from the Federal Government . he was going to send me the paperwork on this, in about 5 to 7 minutes of this call he told me that all he needed was my Credit Card number and he would charge me $3.87 for processing. I told him I would think about it and for him to call me back.
After doing a little work later I found out that this number is a SCAM!!!. Wow he called back and it was the same guy a little later and I told him that I wasn?t  interested and this guy started cussing me out calling me  an F#**** fool for wasting his time and the real funny thing was that along he kept saying that he was with the goverment   REALLY   I never applied for a Grant.   BE CAREFULL A SCAM!!!!!

This number calls repeatedly during the hour. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but it is annoying, nonetheless!!! When I do get tired of it, I will answer & let's just say, I wouldn't want to be the person on the other end!

This number called me and claimed to be from the federal US government. He was really rushing me to get my credit card information in order to send me information about a federal grant program. TOTAL LIES!!!!! Don't give your information out as this seems to be some sort of scam.

Received a call from this number. A woman with an Indian accent claimed she was calling from Microsoft tech support and that my computer was in a critical state because it was not getting updates. Looked this up:

oh thank you Angela cause i got that same call  right now . i said i had no money or cards  he said to put it on a pre paid and he will call back  and i was just going to go do it then i said oh let me check on the computer and sure enough it poped up scam #235-683-4810 thanks again

Getting calls from this number also for bout 2 weeks .Indian accent saying he is from Microsoft and that my computer needs "fixing". HA Just hang up its totally a scam. Getting a similar number also.

I got a call from this number at 8 am. They were saying that ibwasnt able to get internet updates and that they needed to fix that. The person didn't speak good english and I've heard of this scam before. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

I was getting calls one after another all day today, and since i was at work i never answered it and it was from the number 235-683-4810. when i got off they called again,so i answered it and then this like arabian sounded dude was telling me about my federal aide grant, that i needed to fill out some papers to get it processed. and crazy enough im just about to start college so i had applied for the grant at the fasfa.gov not that long ago so i thought it was for real just some dude that didn knw english that was until he told me there was a one time charge on 3.86 . dude asked me "will u be paying with visa or mastercard?" i knew then something was wrong. told him didnt have it and he said he would call back. so called the college i enrolled in and the financial lady had told me NO that is not correct , any federal grants are not going to have consistant calls. so she said if he calls back to get call back info.. so as i figured the dumbass called me back, i got all his call back info.. he said his name was tyler smith and he was with the us government and they were located out of pleasent grove,UT and # he gave was 1800-558-0065 us financial resources . then i hung up and called my school back, i wasnt even on the phone but for 5 minutes with the lady from my school and they had called multiple times. one after another. and then i had a voice mail when i got off the phone and it was from that guy and it said "MS MARTINEZ I KNOW YOU ARE THERE, ALL WE NEED IS YOUR PAYMENT INFO IN ORDER TO PROCESS UR APPLICATION AND IF NOT, THE NEXT TIME I CALL IF YOU DONT WANT THE GRANT U NEED TO STATE SO AND I WILL CANCEL ALL YOUR GRANT FROM US GOVERNMENT. IF NOT, YOU WILL GET MULTIPLE CALS FROM US SO PLEASE AANSWER. WE WILL CALL U CONSISTANTLEY" OH MY GOSH!!! this guy is like threating , this dude knew my phne# email and my address!!!!!!!! WTF .. big time scam.. i still have the voice mail. ANYONE THAT GETS A CALL FROM SOMEONE LIKE THAT TEL THEM TO TAKE UR # OFF THERE CALL LIST AND IF NOT YOU WILL TURN THEM IN.. DO NOT DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY<- OF YOUR INFORMATION TO THESE DISGUSTING ARABIANS OR WHATEVER THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I receive numerous calls from this number.  when they do answer, it is a voice that is foreign, possibly India or Pakistan.  I put the phone on speaker phone and stay silent until they talk.  tell me they are calling from windows about my computer.  as I realize this is a scam, I just tell them "thank you. you already fixed that problem for me".  which kind of leaves them speechless - I guess they have no script for that answer.  I have read that they want you to do something on your computer that grants them access to all your files and passwords.  

I take the polite route now as swearing and threatening to sue them does no good.  but I am sure glad for call display.  thank you to whoever invented call display.

This number keeps calling and when I answer nobody is there. It's very annoying I put it on my reject list and somehow my phone still rings when they call.

I tried to call back and it says it is a Verizon # that is no longer in service!

The call disconnected as soon as I answered it.  I called back IMMEDIATELY and got the message "You have reached a non-working number.  Announcement (Number)"

This number rings twice then hangs up no voicemail left and when I call them back the number can not be reached.
