This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

This number 253 753 9039 keeps calling people and when they call back from their cell phone it calls me at work.  I get 30 calls a day.  How can I complain about this to someone so they disable the number?

I just got this call today offering a free cruise to the Bahamas, all expense paid trip, while I was at work. I don't know how they got my direct phone number but I was curious and I took the survey, I was given a website to log in with the # they dialed as well as my zip code. It sounded really good so I took the survey but now after reading all the testimonials, I know it is now a scam. Thank you for all the info, everyone!

This number called my Google Voice number which forwards to my cell. Recording says if I take a "30 second survey" I'll get a "free" trip to the Bahamas for 2 days. Now, this number is out of WA state ... BUT ... the funny thing is that the same people have called my house number too, 2x, from a number allegedly out of Astoria Oregon (503) 468-5986 and it is the exact same recording for a free trip if I do a 30-second survey.

They've called a work number 3 times today alone. Very annoying. When you call it back it gives you the option to "Press 1 and get added to the DNC list." I feel like I've done this before and they still call. Give me the tickets for the free cruise and when I get back I might want to do the survey; no, probably not..

In spite of all my phone #s registered with Do Not Call, marketing spam calls still arrive. I guess the scammers figure they'll make more than they'll pay for if/when FCC gives them a stern warning.

You all need to file a complaint with the FCC about this number.  I just did and it's the only way for this to be resolved.

If you call back there is a recording that thanks you and instructs you to press '1' to be placed on the do not call list.  We'll see if they stop calling ...

Well the bottom line for me is that I am paying at&t $5.50 a month for an unlisted land line and now I have all these fine folks calling me. Now me, I am not hooked on communication so I will just cancel my phone altogeather and aforementioned phone co will lose that little bit of money.
And as for the ads, we all pay for them anyway as they are a tax writeoff for a business expense.
