This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I'm getting calls every hour from this number.  I don't pick up because I don't know the number. But they keep calling every hour for the past 2 weeks now. It is sooooo annoying.

Did you stay at Yosemite or Reno, NV in July 2012?  I started getting telemarketing calls after completing a phone survey for a Reno, NV hotel I stayed in.  The telemarketing calls got worse after I received automated calls from Yosemite regarding the hantavirus outbreak during my stay.  Was my phone number sold by the hotel's survey contractor or Yosemite (actually Deleware North Companies)??  Did this happen to you too??  Solution: Never take a phone survey.  Never answer a number you don't recognize.

Got a call from this number at 3:50am!  Something has to give with all this spam calling.  Also got a call from 823-301-0073 2 days ago at 1:23am.  It's bad enough we have to deal with this during the day but now in the middle of the night!

Just like Chris mentioned , I spoke to a live representative twice but they hang up when I asked what they do to make savings on electric bill. They said , they represent 30 different energy company's. I believe this is another scam, if they want to help they will always tell how...
They are calling like 5 times a week min... Annoying.

This person is a scammer. Do not believe anything they tell you. They tried to get me to send my ipod to nigeria, wanting me to use PayPal for a money transfer. Obviously I didn't believe him. Watch out for him.

Yep another Electric company telemarketer - my 4th different # in 2 weeks.  Someone on this site posted the fcc.gov link to report them and I was able to report 3 #'s at one time and 2 of those #'s stopped calling.  But apparently the fcc complaint form does more than the DNC registry.  Good luck - they are a pain and they only call my cell and not my landline.  My energy company JCP&L is the only utility that has my cell so I'm thinking they sold my Cell # .........

getting 3 to 4 calls a day from this number; have called backed at least 9 times to add my number to their supposed do not call list - they claim off list 24-72 hours - been 5 days and still getting calls - getting really pissed

Got a call from them, I spoke to a 'representative' (who wasn't the nicest) said she works for the "Savings Center."  Seems like a direct violation since I'm on the DNC list, and have gotten these calls multiple times.

These electric bill recordings are getting really tiresome.  My husband says Don't Answer the Phone.  But I get too many scam calls to remember all the numbers. And, I don't want the phone ringing at all hours of the day and night. Since DNC does not work, guess I need to invest in some type of call screening.

Got a call from this number today.  When I chose the option to speak to a representative and told them to take my name off their list, they hung up on me.

253-753-9043/2/1  - all three of these numbers keep calling my CELL and HOME, several times a day.  Both are on the DO NOT CALL list.  There is no message.  When calling back, there is a recording to "opt out" of calls.  That didn't work, actually it made them call more.  Who is making these calls?  This is so frustrating!

These JERKS called twice in less than an hour.....These Electric Supplier Hawkers SHOULD BE FINED FOR EVERY CALL...I still report every call even though it looks like the DNC Registry DOESN'T work at ALL!!!!!!!

Never call a potential Toll Free Number, they capture your PH #, you can't block it, *67 will not work, it's Toll Free, they ar epaying fo ryou to call them Free, so they hav eth eRight to your Number. Tricky!!

I have been getting these calls 3 to 4 times a week for some time now.  The automated solicitation offers you an opt-out option by pressing 8 or or something.  I believe this only puts you on the list of call again numbers.  The National Do Not Call list is just another government failure.  It only works for those callers who are just trying to improve their business by soliciting your patronage.  As we are all aware, political phone harassment  was exempted as was non-profit solicitation.  Non-Profits, however, have their own DNC lists and if you communicate your desire not to be called they will honor your request.  The hackers like 253-753-9043 have found ways to mask their real numbers with, in some cases, inactive numbers.

Got a call from (on caller ID) it says "Savings". I answered it and got nothing but silence! I told them I am on the DNC List and then I hung up. So sick n tired of all these calls from different numbers.. What is going on already?!

i have received five calls from unknown caller in the past four hours. no wonder people are getting fedup. being on the dnc list doesn;t mean a thing. putting a block on may be the answer. but they will still try calling you one way or the other. so much for the do not call list.

Got two calls from this number within 10 mintes of each other.  Not sure why they're calling me -- I live on the East Coast, not the West Coast.  And I had a message left from their previous number, 206-445-6114, that was REALLY garbled.  Anything to get around DNC.  The envelope info listed "11" before that number. My husband thinks these calls may be coming from out of the country because of that.

I'm going to be passing all of this info over to our regional branch of our state's Attorney General's Office.  I've also been getting my "fair share" of calls for switching power providers for Edison Electric (isn't that Con Edison?), PECO (that's Philadelphia, I think), and Duquesne (which I think is Duquesne Light).  These are all phone fraud since I didn't contact whoever they are and I have nothing to do with these electric companies they're calling about.  Oh, and I will report this to DNC which I will also mention to the AG's office.

Scam claiming to lower my electric bill (some recorded messages have said UGI electric and some PG&E electric). I have neither as my utility provider.
