Called I'd just said Alert.

This is really annoying because I am on a medical alert number for a neighbor and if I had not just received a call from LifeLine I would have picked up not knowing if it was a medical emergency. I hate that these scammers can call private numbers that are unlisted. I am able to block 30 calls. That is not enough. I need to order a phone blocker that blocks more calls. Any suggestions as to the best available.

Alert called again at 12:44pm.  At 12:57pm they called from 702 520-5334.

I have both area codes blocked and our phones do not ring when they call.  Our office was not disturbed.

They called again @ 1:05PM.  Please see my post above this one - sez it all!

Blocked again - BLOCKED FOREVER!

Received the call at 11:47am.  Their call was BLOCKED BEFORE THEY ROBODIALED MY NUMBER.

                                                 We have the ENTIRE 253 AREA CODE BLOCKED!

                            They can call all they want but if they call from the 253 - THEY ARE BLOCKED!  

                                               Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in.

                                                        In fact, we have 44 area codes blocked.

This number listed as ALERT calls my number at least 3 times a days and because I don't recognize
It I do not answer and they do not leave messages and it is very annoying and if you are on the DONOT call list why does it still happen... Getting darn tired of it

Scammers got a new number for me to block.  63 out of 250 blocked spots (Panasonic phone) taken in 4 months so far.  Keep em coming.  Got plenty of room for you turds.

Came up as Alert on my caller id and I deliberately picked up and hung up on it. Then I called it back and reached a recording that I have heard before that they by law,  have 72 hours to remove your number (after verifying the number that called you and then your  number) to remove it. No info is given as to what company is calling. Definitely scam. Will file yet another complaint to the do not call registry.

I received this call for the first time these evening about 7PM
Caller ID read ALERT.
I did not pick it up and waited to see if I got a voice mail.
I didn't.  
What a joke, if it's such a big ALERT than why no voice mail to warn me of whatever the alert was/is all about.
I'm tired of all these jerks calling numerous times.

i have registered "do not call" but contunue to receive calls all through the day and night--please put an end to all of them.

The only purpose in the "medic alert for seniors" scammer's calls, is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!

Most scammer calls are from WA in different spoofed numbers.
I have blocked plenty of them.
Never answer unknown numbers. Scary to talk to ill-willed person that trying to rob you.
Block one and the another one will come up next.
They said that it's billion dollars business, scamming the gullibles.
It's holidays and the calls of this kind will intensify.Do not pick up the phone and block them.
You can even silence the ringer at your preferred choice of time period.

Scammers be careful... read all about these thieves and report them to the FTC beofre they scam your parents, friends and or family !

I have been receiving many calls from this number.  Once answered and they said "Alert" and I hung up.  Today I remembered the number and did not answer.  How can we eliminate these calls????

Caller i.d. says "ALERT". When answered but didn't say hello, just listened and they say nothing.

Received this call, but did not answer because it only came up as Alert.  From the sound of the posts it is some kind of annoying scam.  The left no message, therefore I'm sure it is telemarketing or a scam.
