got this call same disconnected number...the phone company needs to get this person

Called me today.  When I called number back 5 minutes later, said number was disconnected.

Seems like they're trying to get your social security number or credit card number. SCAM!!!!

Please do NOT tell people to give unsolicited callers their SSN and/or card number; shame on you!
I'm sure they were friendly, you just gave them cart blanche' to your life.

There are only a few entities that require your SSN, the IRS, Social Security Administration, an employer, medical services, & credit application, which is usually requested on a paper/electronic form!  Retail establishments can not demand it when you purchase something by check, cash, or credit card.

This number called 3x within 2 mins.  When my cell went to voice mail, they hung up n called right back.  When I answered they hung up...obnoxious at the very least.  Anyone know "what" they're up to?

If you give these folks your SSN and credit card number, they can help lower your debt. Very friendly people!

I received an unwanted call fron 256-381-4758.

I just recieved a call too, didn't answer and no message. I also just got a credit card about a week ago.

Do you guys all have a credit card? I'm wondering if this guy works for one of our credit card companies...

Called me about 10 minutes ago.  I answered and there was no one on the line.  Hung up after a few second.

This number just called me about ten minutes ago.. I didn't answer and then found this website. Good thing I didn't answer. Funny thing is nobody ever calls my cell and I just got a new credit card a couple of days ago and all of a sudden I get a call from this #......strange.

Looks like he's back at it... someone needs to catch this creep.

Called and left no message. I don't answer calls if I don't know the number. Figure if it's important they would leave a message. after reading others comments about this number, I don't think I'm going to call them back.

called my phone - i blocked the entire area code since I don't know anyone from that area code and I guess I never will :)

Called and didn't leave a message as it showed up on my cell from Sheffield, Alabama and I don't have a clue who would call me from there. Second time it called said it was my credit card company and wanted to confirm my numbers to ensure I was getting the best interest rate. I asked them to confirm number by telling me the number they had for my card, there was a pause, then they hung up. Funny thing is all our credit cards are in my husbands name and not mine so if I get more calls I am going to have some fun with a scammer :)

interesting as it is listed for a charles stokes but yet looks like the charles stokes passed away in 2008. So unless it's his wife, no charles to talk to.

I recieved a call to a Central California cell phone number, I didn't answer, no message either.

They called me ... they asked for my information, I said I wanted to know who they were and would prefer to call them back if they were my credit card company in case it was a scam, they immediately hung up. I called back the number, it says it's out of service.

They called me too 30 minutes ago.  I did not answer.  Called the number back, disconnected

called twice in less than 1 minute. answered at the second time and they hanged up.

This number calls my Husband at least 7-8 tims a day,a recording asking if he would like to lower his credit card rate, you are put on hold for the next rep finly you get a male person and when my Husband asked what company the person was with the person  hung up. Guess this IdIot was not exspecting anyone to ask what company he was with, and was  hopeing to get some one to give him their credit card number or other info useful to him,

The same thing happened to me when I asked what company he was with he hung up,I think this jerk is just hoping to get some one that will give their credit number to him

Called me 18 minutes ago, I didnt' answer due to being on another call. When I called back, the number was disconnected...

Scam. Don't answer when they call. May take a few days but they will give up.
