Called at 2:30 in the freakin' MORNING and woke us up! I grabbed my Louisville Slugger and went to their office and beat them like a bad boy!

I agree with atruespirit.  The comments about the grammer of the debt collectors is completely inappropriate.  
The debt collectors who call my number are looking for another person.  I've told them many times that the person does not live at my address.  
I believe people really should make an effort to pay their bills, if at all possible, and the debt collectors should be certain they have the correct person before continuing to call a number.

In reading other notes, I've found out this is a collection agency.

A hostile, threatening sounding call from this number came in at 8:05am this morning for my granddaughter, who is a teen-ager. They asked if I knew her phone number and I said yes, but I was away from my computer and didn't have the information with me (nor would I give it to them if I had it because I don't know them or their intent towards my granddaughter). They asked me if I knew where she lived and I said yes. They asked if she lived at 77th st and I said yes, until last weekend when her mother moved to a new home and I don't have the new address. "Her MOTHER? Well, who are YOU?" I told them I'm her grandmother.

The notes as this woman spoke them while she wrote them down: "Grandmother doesn't know phone number. Grandmother doesn't know where granddaughter lives." It's as if they are trying to build a case against my granddaughter and claiming I am ducking their questions to avoid communications with them. The next time they call, I'll record it - it sounds like a little CYA on this end is necessary, because their notes are lies!!

I have a group on my cell phone that is Pests,  Whenever I get a call from these dear folk, I just add them to that group and the default ring is NO RING.  When they call, I never hear it.

They are very rude and threatening.  I have asked them to quit calling but they say they need that in writing.   The debt they are trying to collect is a dental bill for $51 that is in dispute and I have talked to the dentist office about this.  But these rude people just keep calling.

WHAT CAN I DO?   AND THEY ARE CALLING MY CELL PHONE!!!!

I called the number back and they were courteous.  The company said they were looking for Christine.  I told them they had the wrong number and she said they would take my number off of the call list.

They called me this morning and asked for someone who doesn't even live at my house.  Wouldn't state the nature of his business and wanted to answer my questions with questions.  Told me he didn't have a list to take me off of, and got very rude when I would not identify myself.  Would not tell me which company he was with.  I don't have any outstanding debts that I know of so I have no idea why this person is harassing us.  I am considering reporting him to the police and or having the phone company block this number.  As it is, I am going to file a complaint with the BBB, the cell phone (which originated from New Cingular Wireless PC in GA).

You are retarded.  Before you make racist comments about how someone speaks, please use spell check and a dictionary and you will discover that YOU don't have a great command of the english language yourself.

I have a brand new cell #, less than a month & these jerks have the new number....already!  The bill, which I admit to you that I owe, is only 300.00 and they are harrassing me over that?????  Bring it on and try harder!!!! My house is in foreclosure & getting a new place to live is a lot more important than dealing with them!   Credit report me...at this point, they can do no harm!!!!!

Very annoying. They call my cell phone, office phone and home phone at the same time but all different numbers. Never leaves a message. I called them back. After a few seconds of music, someone name Tom answered. He would not say what the name of the company was that he was calling from. He asked me to identify myself. I told him I would if he would tell me the company's name. He didn't. I asked him to remove my number from his list. He told me No. He was very rude and I don't even know what this is about.

Also receiving calls. No message left. When I called back, only got music recording.  I don't think this the way a legitimate company would do business. I'm also on a do-not-call list.  Doesn't seem to help.

I get a call from this number at least twice a week and they are so skilled they can call my cell and my home phone at the same time. From the post that I have read I see this is a debt collector. Good to know since I owe money to no one besides my current and up to date bills. I have tried the do not call list several times and to no avail I still get calls from just about everybody. These companies just get sneakier all the time. If I am at my computer and I see the caller id on my home phone pop up with this number I don't even get up to bother looking at my cell phone which is ringing as well. Why waste the trip when you know who it is anyways.

They are a debt collector. Worse than rude, active harassment.

This is a collection agency called 'Capital Accounts.' They buy debts from other people, in my case, a medical debt. They call me frequently, dialing my cel phone, and home phone at the SAME TIME  The number is located in Alabama. I also get a call from 205-453-4750 at the same time.  

I have spoken with them - explained that I would love to pay my debt but am not able to do so at this time because: I am disabled, on Medicaid and supporting my husband who is also disabled and has not worked in 3 yrs, we lost our business in 2007 and have spent our retirement, and our house is in foreclosure. They don't take notes. They don't have a charity application, which a medical institution would provide in New York. They are rude, yell and threaten to ruin my credit. Too late.

I asked them not to call again, and to send me an invoice. But they keep calling.

TIP FOR DEALING WITH BILL COLLECTORS: If you have a cell phone that has a "voice recorder" on it; use the recorder to record nothing but QUIET.  Then save the bill collectors phone number under whatever name you want and use the "add detail" feature; select "add ring tone" and choose the one that you recorded with no sound at all and you'll never, ever hear the phone ring from that bill collector again!  I love it!

I received a call at 8:15 a.m. from 256-693-2794, didn't answer because I didn't recognize number and I had been up all night and was already having a bad, bad day.  So, they already pissed me off for calling so early in the morning (normally I would have been sound asleep), they left a voice mail, I listened and it was nothing but NOISE that sounded like a fax machine.  Then, I realized I had calls from these people before and the very same thing happened.  This time when I returned their call I got some young girl with such a strong, southern accent and dialect that I had to ask her FOUR times what company she worked for before she finally used a little strength and spoke all syllables of Capital Accounts, I ended up hanging up on her because as she began to ask questions I began to say "Pardon me", "I'm sorry, I can't understand you", and I couldn't do that again! So, I did learn they are a collection agency and I agree with "yegor", "the bi****s will never get my money.  They call and call and irritate you to death and when they leave voice mails it's noise and most of the time when you try to call them, you get no answer and when you do, you can't understand a damn word they're saying.  Off the topic a bit...  Who hires people to answer the phone for their company who doesn't speak solid proper English?!  In Little Rock, AR, the black folks have their own kind of thing goin' on down there now.  I can't understand hardly a one of them and I got to know a couple of black men pretty well and I learned they use as few syllables as possible to speak a word and let me tell you, they converse very well with other but it was like French to me!  I was always saying "What?"  Duh!

No one on the line just loud carnival music when I called back. Same music on the line with a call the day before  from 256 693 2794.
