(256) 886-8564 responded to my Craigslist ad wanting to buy my item for his cousin. Wanted my Paypal email and I gave it to him. How stupid I was. Since I keep no money in my Paypal account, I hope that I am safe. I admit my stupidity. At the same time, I have to ask why these criminals remain in operation when they are using the Internet that conducts interstate commerce. A homeless person having a beer in an alley will go to jail immediately. These scammers, however, seem able to operate with impunity. Where is our law enforcement where real crime is being committed against multiple innocents over pathways common to interstate commerce?

This lady keeps calling here and very rude. we do not put calls into our plant

Just got a text message from +1 (256) 886-8564 Wanting to buy an item I had listed on Craigslist, ask for my location, then ask for my pay pal account info. I replied that it was cash only and I received it's for my son's Christmas... It's a scam, then I cane here and read all off these complaints, mostly phonecalls... So beware now there text and getting info thru Craigslist !!!

Just got another call after my husband telling them not to call again.  Man who called was quite rude & when I asked aren't you calling to solicit money he hung up on me and this was after he told me that Jesus loves me after I reminded him that they were asked not to call again.  I plan to place a complaint with the Attorney General & so should everyone else this people keep calling.

Just got a message from this number, they ask for me and then said something about finishing the book and knew how it was going to end.  The number and voice is unfamiliar.  This is wierd.

caller had my name.i don't live in huntsville.gave me the creeps after i hung up.wish i hadn't picked up the phone.

I got a call from this number about 5 minutes ago and couldn't answer. When I called the number back it said it wasn't in service. How can they call from a number that's not in service? I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry and I still get calls like this all the time. Very annoying.

Got a call. Politely told the man I could not give this year and he slammed the phone down. Tried to call back and got the mentioned number to learn it was a Magic Jack number and a customer had not been assigned.

Now they're saying they are from the National Firefighters Fund.

Had the same thing happen, asked for my husband by his first name (which he hates and never uses), when I said he was unavailable, she hung up. Total bs, called the number back and it was a magic jack recording saying the number hadn't been assigned to anyone, to recheck the number dialed and try again. Pathetic!

solicitor.............I told him I don't to business over the phone and hung up. How about investigating and prosecuting some of these criminals???

Well I set here and read most of these entries. Can't believe it is 2012 and they are still using this scam.
I've gotten where when I get a call from an unknown number I blast the phone with a
REAL LOUD noise.

that's a good idea, then when u get the stuff in the mail, please inform your State attorney's office and the co not call people. maybe eventually someone will stop some of them

PEOPLE these Callers are SCAMMERS and they can get all your info if you write them a ck, all your banking info is on your ck !!!!!!  if u wonder how your identity gets stolen, it is from writing checks, or giving out your bank card, credit card, debit card info out to someone that you dont really know who they are !!!!!!

please educate your friends and family ....... if they dont get $$ they WILL STOP CALLING

Just got 2 calls back to back and I didn't answer.  Tried to call back and got the Magic Jack recording.  Man, these calls are driving me insane!!!

3 weeks ago this number called and they were  kidswish.org making money of the make a wish foundations good name.

Now they call and say they are with the fire department collecting money for burned kids?

Can you say scam.   I give my money to the real folks CRS, Easter Seals folks who at least help kids who need it.

THIS NUMBER CALLED MY HOME AND OF COURSE NO ONE ANSWERED. WHEN I CALLED BACK THE MAIL BOX WAS FULL BUT IT SAID IT WAS FOR MAGIC JACK. I DID A REVERSE PHONE LISTING AND HE IS FROM HUNTSVILLE. IT SHOWED WHAT STREET HE LIVES OWN BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE ADDRESS. THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL PHONE NUMBER.
