Burundi Country Code 257  you will be charged at a very high rate if you call back and part of the money goes to the account of the scammer from the carrier. The scammer may keep you on hold or keep you interested with adult chat to increase the call duration.  Block if you can otherwise do not answer any calls coming from Burundi Country Code 257.

Got a call this morning and they asked for me. I heard the Hindu accent so I thought it was the clowns that stole my identity and were called from fast cash auto loans. He asked me how much interest that I'm currently paying on my mortgage and said I had called them to help reduce my Apr. I told him my apr is 0%. Then he asked me how much did I owe on the mortgage. I told him I wasn't going to tell him because I didn't know him #1 & #2 it wasn't his business. So he hung up. I just looked at my call queue like 5hrs and saw the number. They have over a million numbers, companies, and reasons to call you, but as the blogger said earlier, "invest in a call block app and put them on it."

This number calls at least 2 times a month.. I do not believe there is a Prefix of 157

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

This s*** is ridiculous.  Nonstop calls. I dont know how to get it to stop.

I have received hundreds of calls from these jerks.  Claim to be a Mortgage company. Whenever I ask for a supervisor, or to be removed from their list, they hang up immediately. No answer when I call back.

Got a phone call today. A man with an Arab accent asking for Miss. So and so. I asked who it was two times with no reply, asked who they were looking for, again no reply. I heard other male voices in the background. Shenanigans....  What information are they gathering???? Very suspicious call.

I had a couple of call from this number, there is no answer!!! Does anybody know what is going on?

Got at least 2-3 calls this morning from this phone number. The first call they hung up. The second time I heard someone say, " can I speak to..." And then they went blank again.

Yet another unknown caller. No message, no ID>

Called at 7:30 am.  Ringer on my phone was off. (I'm asleep at that hour!)  They left no message.

I have had this number call my phone for the past three days in a row and haven't answered it. I am glad after reading this comment page!

Caller hung up.  I returned call and msg said this number cannot accept incomming calls.  Scam!

When I returned it, I got a strange loud ring.  then nothing.
