Caller belched and hung up.

Caller calls too early in the morning and too late at night.  Listed as a telemarketer.....will report to the National and Statewide DO NOT CALL LIST  When we call back it says this number is no longer in service and has been disconnected.

It was the American Cancer Society thanking me for my 2012 donation two weeks previous and looking for a commitment for 2013.  I guess if you make a contribution, you must be considered a "live one".  In any event, I told them I did not contribute to telephone solicitations and to take my number off their list.

Received a call from them this evening.  Caller ID showed "Private Caller."  I did not answer and they didn't leave a message.

I got a call tonight from this number.  I was on the phone with someone else and didn't answer. They did not leave a message on my phone.  When I called it back they said it was disconnected or no longer in service.

Received call from 262-953-2043 but didn't answer. No message left. A week ago I got another call from 262-515-0000. I picked that up but no one was on the other end. These are WI calls, Kenosha area, and I live in St. Paul MN.

I received a call from this number on my cell 6/18/12. No one was on the line when I answered.  I promptly called the number back and received a recording staing the number was no longer in service

We get calls from this number repeatedly and would like to have them stop

When I answered.......a man asked if "Ed" was there.  I said no (as my husband passed away) and asked if I could take a message.......he hung up on me.

Okay people, problem solved. It's the American Cancer Society Midwest Divisin out of Wisconsin. I had been receiving these for a few months now. I finally saw someone mention ACS. I helped run/organize an ACS walk/run here in my city. Out of curiosity I asked a coworker sitting near me (who also spearheaded the event) if he had received any and he had just missed the same call (number). We're going to try to figure out how to stop these calls and try to find a number that will work to call them back to have them stop. It's not SPAM or some scam... it's just good old telemarketing through the American Cancer Society.

My husband just answered a call from this number, the caller asked for me by name.  Before my husband could hand the phone to me, the caller disconnected and all we could hear was static.

A call from this number showed up as Waukesha, WI on caller ID.  Asked for my husband.  When i said he wasn't home and asked to take a message, the woman said "no" and hung up.  After reading these posts, I tried to call the number back - message said it is disconnected.

3-20-2012  Just got a call from 262-953-2043.  Asked for my wife by first name.  I said yes he's here, can I ask who's calling, and they hung up.  Immediately dialed back and got the recording that the number has been disconnected, or no longer in service.  Something is up with this.  It is NOT A.C.S.

Repeated calls, ask for me by name, When I tell her I'm not home and try to take a message she hangs up.   Starting to piss my wife off

Caller asked for my wife by name.  Told the lady she was not home and she hung up.
I tried calling this lady back and I got a recorded message that this phone number was no longer in service.  Another number I can post and not answer when they call.

Didnt answer and thel left no vm, then the number called my husband he answered and they asked for me. When said I was unavailable and asked to take a msg they hung up on him. I immediatly called the number back and it said it had been disconected......very weird

Tried to call them back and they say number is not working.  The government needs to STOP  all telemarketing calls, can't even have privacy in your own home.

I looked up ACS Midwest after my last post. One is American Cancer Society. I walked last year. It's hard to believe that this organization would be cold calling, hanging up on people, and using numbers that are "no longer in service" when you try to call back. Anyway............hope they stop bugging me whoever it is.

Leave me alone. Whoever does this probably checks this site. Leave me alone. Stop harassing people and go get a job. When you call back you get a message that says "This number is disconnected."

I got this same call tonight..."blocked name" on caller I.D.  Hung up when I answered on 3rd ring.  How obnoxious!  I too am on the "no-call" list.

Probably fundraising for the ACS (American Cancer Society) Midwest division.  They are a non-profit and considered exempt from the do not call list, so ya got two choices; donate or ignore it until the campaign is done.
