So you press 1 to confirm that you actually answered their call and listened to it. Bet they appreciate knowing that.
You'll just get MORE calls...

When I tried to add this Zimbabwe number to the Optimum voice block list, it says the
phone number is invalid. It was valid enough to ring my phone though ! Great. Hopefully
they wont keep calling.

I've attempted to get this number placed on the do-not-call list, but was refused due to the area code.
Saundra Sharp 2013-02-19 20:49:59 Unknown
Does anyone know what numbers coming from 360 that are not legit are all about? I get many of these, along with the number spoken of.

It's the notorious 'card services' scammers trying their best to get your credit card number, and if they succeed you will notice hundreds, if not thousands of dollars charged to it on your next statement! BEWARE, and warn others.

They use spoofing services. Google "spoofing" and read about it.

I did buy an "airhorn"..the kind you can put in your purse...when this number calls and I answer, I press the airhorn for about 5 seconds...haven't gotten another one since.

1-2 calls a day, everyday. I didn't answer, no messages left by caller. I tried calling back, it is a bogus phone number ...as soon as my phone's dialing ends, I get the dial tone again.

I called this number and the first thing they asked for was my social security number. Then they asked for my birthdate. What? No way I'm giving that out!

bubba 2013-02-14 02:18:56 Unknown
this number calls me three to five times a day,how bad is that.?
Bo Hopkins 2013-02-13 23:54:28 Unknown
In the U.S. there is an FCC regulation prohibiting the spoofing of numbers from an unsolicited source.
Good luck with applying the fines, though.

Criminal calling - (263)-989-7373
AT&T won't block so put in contacts as BOGUS. LOL
Lynne 2013-02-13 23:50:47 Unknown
It is the FTC, not the FCC, that would be in charge of this problem. The FTC has already declared, multiple times, that they have cracked down on this illegal activity. They have not. I think the phone companies need to be compelled by law to stop allowing calls from "spoofed" caller ID's -- that would stop the scam immediately.
Weary 2013-02-13 23:47:30 Unknown
It already is illegal to make these calls, but our elected representatives and phone companies are too inept or unwilling to go after these criminals. These are identity thieves, phishing for personal information they can use to ruin our lives. This is the same group of thugs behind "Rachel" and "Anne," etc., at "Cardholder Services". We get a half dozen calls a day. Thinking of canceling our phone service, since it has been taken over by 3rd world criminal scum anyway.
Call Type is IDENTITY THIEVES

there has been 10 atleast credit card companies calling from area codes i have no clue. says do you want lower your credit card interest rates. when you get someone the phone and begin to put on do not call list they hang up on you and then you try to call back and the number does not exsist. time to get the police involved on harrassment i get atleast 2 a day. . horrible. i never gave a credit card company my number. thanks
ted carter 2013-02-13 23:29:16 Unknown
would it be GREAT to get a law passed that made it ILLEGAL for phone companies to give ANY BUSINESS a number that is unlisted or un-callable.
We WANT TO HARASS the companies that CALL US.
right??
Khatri 2013-02-13 23:11:11 Telemarketer
This has been a multiple-times-a-day hang-up call. Too bad no one does anything about phone criminals, I guess they'd have to hold a gun to my head through the phone line for someone to consider going after them. So sick of this.
Irritated 2013-02-13 22:54:48 Unknown
I have received 3 calls from this number in the past 5 days. If this is not a legitimate area code, how can someone use it?
KarnDog 2013-02-13 22:22:50 Telemarketer
I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.
But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:

starts as a recording "please don't hang up, press 2 to lower your interest rates" when a real person got on the line, i told him to "suck my d*ck you c*cks*cker". You should have heard the nasty stuff he said back. Obviously not a real company because they screen calls and this person would have gotten fired for talking like that. 1000% SCAM!!!!
