They called at 6:38 a.m.  Didn't leave a message.

Looks like it's a work day for them today.
My wife's phone got rung @ 0622 and mine @ 0747
Didn't recognize area code so didn't answer.

I know that back a few years this similar issue occurred with a twist. If you called back or answered, the recipient was able to keep the line open for 2 to 5 minutes and you couldn't terminate the call until the system timed out.

Does anyone know if that has been fixed? (Back then, no caller id and I got tagged with multiple calls to Vanuatu). Each call was $87 per minute.

This is a scam originating from several Caribbean islands, including Grenada (area code 473), Dominica (area code 767), Jamaica (area code 876), Montserrat (area code 664), Turks and Caicos Islands (area code 649), Antigua and Barbuda (area code 268), Barbados (area code 246), and Anguilla (area code 264).  This scam seems to have started in Grenada and has quickly spread to a number of other Caribbean islands.

The original scam attempted to lure the called party to return the call to the Caribbean number by calling at inappropriate times (e.g., early morning), ringing only once or twice, and not leaving a message.  The called party would incur international and other phone charges for a return call, with a portion of the proceeds going to the scammers.  The latest iterations of this scam have combined the cramming feature with other scams (i.e., prizes, debt collections, ?computer virus? problems, etc.).

Caller ID on my phone has it as "Anguilla"

Got a call from this number with no message at 10:10am EST.  

Same thing here. Called number back, got weird arab singing...

Received this call at 1:00am central time first on my personal phone then on my work cell. the numbers are entirely different so they must be trolling by name. Did not recognize and did not answer.

Got this call at 2:00 a.m. Called back, pre-recorded message of Muslim Prayer. Given my past work was deeply worried it had terror implications. Sounds like just another spammer.

Same thing happened to us just before midnight.

Calledand hung up at nearly midnight Pst. Not this country. Read about 5-25 a minute charges on another number recently using similar tactics to get people to call them.

Received calls on two phones from unknown caller at this number.  Rang once, then disconnected. First on my wife's cell phone, then several minutes later on mine (phones have similar numbers).
