it's a scam, they will charge you 20.00 on  your phone bill. it's afica don't call back area codes you don't know if they don't leave a VM

Most newer Android devices can either block numbers with the Android OS or with a third party call blocking app. Put that (or any other sketchy number) on your blocked call list and you'll never know they even tried to call you.

I got the call at 0438 hrs.  I called back.  It sounded to me like the Muslim call to prayer.  I don't speak Arabic so I wasn't positive.  Why?  They didn't even leave a scam recording.  Then I found out that Verizon was billing ME for them calling me, $2.49/minute.  Now THAT is a scam!  They also say there is no way to block it.  You answer a call like this on your mobile and you're screwed.

call came in at 3 a.m. local time - 264-583-2411, stupid me called it back when I got up, not noticing the time of the call - some weird loud music answered, so I hung - called my provider immediately to dispute the call and any charges.

This is a scam originating from several Caribbean islands, including Grenada (area code 473), Dominica (area code 767), Jamaica (area code 876), Montserrat (area code 664), Turks and Caicos Islands (area code 649), Antigua and Barbuda (area code 268), Barbados (area code 246), and Anguilla (area code 264).  This scam seems to have started in Grenada and has quickly spread to a number of other Caribbean islands.

The original scam attempted to lure the called party to return the call to the Caribbean number by calling at inappropriate times (e.g., early morning), ringing only once or twice, and not leaving a message.  The called party would incur international and other phone charges for a return call, with a portion of the proceeds going to the scammers.  Some of he latest iterations of this scam have combined the cramming feature with other scams (i.e., prizes, debt collections, ?computer virus? problems, etc.).

No answer no message.... Weird. From Anguilla?? That is the only info that showed up on my cell.

Called my cell phone at 3:30am, rang once.  This is the second time they've called.

Some nut that belives Americans are dumb enough to give out cc # over phone.  

Called me twice. First call was at 2:30am and again at 2:59am. The second call woke me up, but it only rang once. No message left.

Called too early and woke us up. No message or anything! No idea why.

Called at 4:04 am, left no message. I did not answer.

Called at 4:09am, didn't answer. Left no message.

Called at 1:57 am mountain time. Did not answer, did not leave a message.

Called at 6:21, left no message. When I called back it goes straight to a voicemail where there's some strange Indian music playing in the background......awkward?????.

Called at 3:00 in the morning. Did not answer and they did not leave a message.
