Got a call from this number at 3:35 mtn time. Sounded like some annoying Fu@! from New Jersey, could not really tell because the guy was swollowing the phone. Something about claiming a winning prize, problem is I never entered any contest. Some jackhole sold my phone number to some other d-bag so he can go phishing, SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a real estate agent, so my cell number is very public and I get a lot of unwanted solicitations or scam calls.  I got a call from 266-696-687 (no fourth digit)  However, I NEVER answer any call that originates outside the area codes where I do business.  Apparently there is no 266 area code.  It is the country code for Losoto in Africa.  It is likely a scam call.  Some of the people who posted here are probably getting calls in the wee hours because whoever is calling hasn't considered the time difference between Losoto and the US.

Got a couple calls from this to my Verizon cell phone, so I guess it's not just Sprint. no one said anything. if i'd realized it had no last digit i would not have answered.

These people are calling my magic jack nbr repeatedly from this dis-jointed nbr!!!!! It must be scam artist at work while the government is on strike!! and overlooking scam artist!!! Calls just started this saturday am. Thanks for the updates........... for they must be trying the money scams or congrats,you have won millions scam or they have millions in africa or another foreign bank and need help getting their money out of the country and want to split it with you.lol.....what a joke!!!!!

I got a call at 1:34 am and it sounded like a 10 year old playing a prank because there were kids laughing in the back ground at my responses.. He knew my first and middle name and just kept repeating it and then I asked who it was and why they called...

Annoyed & hopeful that this kind of calls will be dealt with. These people should be put to jail.

Call your phone company and report this. Also call the police. These guy's need to be tracked down even if its just dumb kids playing phone book games.  No one should be afraid!

Well I got a call from that number and it was a girl and she knew my name and asked if it was me.. She said my first and last name.. And then said some other things that I would rather not say.. What in the world..

This should be a problem that sprint has to address, it seems that it only affects sprint costomers.  Where are they getting our phone numbers; my opnion they somehow received them from Sprint?  Don't let Sprint try to say anything different.  They will give a convincing story as to why it is not.

I received a call from 266-696-687 - looked sketchy so I didn't answer it and they left a message. It turned out to be my new doctor's office. Apparently the numbers spell A-N-O-N-Y-M-O-U-S so somehow people use it to get around caller ID.

Its someone using *67 that is actually in your contacts.... I have two cell phones and If I *67, it brings up this number on the caller ID.

I'm also a Sprint carrier and receive random calls from this number (266) 696-687 when I answer they stay quite and hang up after a few seconds but they never say words there has been messages from this number but they quite... Wth this makes me want to switch from Sprint.

I also received a call from 266 969 687 on my sprint phone and got 4 calls that i answered. The first two calls i received sounded like there was a baby. The third time, i said to stop calling. The last call i tried to trick him and say," I am sorry but this mobile caller has reported you. I will have to disconnect your phone number." Then a lady said,"I am sorry i was trying to advertise a formula for farting." Then i said plz stop cal...... Before i could finish, my friend grabbed my phone and said," Stop being a buttface and hang up!" Later, thinking this was a normal prank caller, i searched    What area code 266 is. Then i found many sites about 266 969 687. This phone number means ANONYMOUS in digits. It is the second most wanted prank caller.

I just got a phone call from this number, the man asked me if I treat sex addiction problems and his voice and questions sounded too suspicious. He said he had sex addiction problems and wanted a session with his step mother but did not want his step father to find out. He said to be 18 and step mom 32. I just said my fees and if he wanted to schedule and then hung up. ANNOYING!

I got a call from this number to my sprint cell phone and it was my husband calling me from his cell but blocked the number because he was playing a prank on me. So this is a BLOCKED CALL NOT A Scam.

Okay well I just got a call (4 times) from this number just now and I'm freaked out...please tell me this is fake);

I have SPRINT and just received 2 phone calls from them just now so I got online and decided to look it up and found this website. The first phone call was a man sounding like he was trying to get me to have phone sex with him and so I hung up and then they called back again 2 minutes later (mind you this was around 1:45AM) and they said nothing this time and they hung up.

I have been getting these calls for MONTHS and at all hours of the night. I have Sprint but I think that point is moot.

So back in July I got phone calls from a blocked number and answered a few times to try to figure out what they wanted and it was this guy named Jonathan (that is what they said, but I doubt its a real name). He wanted me to have phone sex with him. I hung up and didn't answer. I called my phone carrier (sprint) and they said they couldn't block already blocked numbers from my phone and couldn't tell me what the number real number was cause it came up blocked on their phones too. After a week he stopped calling.
Last night I got a call a few times from this number: 266-696-687. It wasn't complete so I knew it wasn't a real number and found out after answering once that it was the same guy calling for the same thing. He has called 20 ish times now in the last 24 hours.
If this is happening to someone else don't answer! I did some research and found out that when blocking a number the incomplete phone number comes up, it spells out 'anonymous'. Don't answer and if you do and they threatened you or you feel threatened call your local police and see what they can do. Whatever these scammers are doing it is ILLEGAL!

I was skeptical about this number as well. I got four calls from it last Sunday, tried calling it back and you can't. A week later I received three more calls and the third time someone finally said something. They said I had called them at 2am the other morning.    it made some sense, so I called my fiancés phone using *67 then the number and what do you know, my number came up 266-696-687 cause I blocked my number.

I to have Sprint service I received 4 calls this morning at 7:38,7:42,8:43 and at 8:56. The number was I got the call from was 266-696-687 no last number. I tried calling it back using the nine digit number then added a 1 at the end making it a ten digit number then 2 and so on. Every time I called it, the call hung up before it had a chance to ring.

I got this call to my sprint cell phone. They were calling in response to a Craigslist ad for housecleaning. She stated she cared for an elderly lady and she was being transferred due to her husbands job. She asked how discreet I was, I thought she was talking abouteducal privacy as she said she takes her to her appointments. Anyhow she later said the ladies son comes to visit once a month and she likes him to have "lots of extra attention." After I was silent for a moment trying to process I said what the h... Kind of attention you mean? She acted as if she was in shock and hung up the phone. What a moron, seriously these people need to get a life.

I believe I have gotten repeated calls from this number but I don't answer it. The number shows up with the last digit not showing up and appears as unknown. It is very irritating.

Got a call from this dumb a** number at 2am. I woke up not looking at the number and thought it must be an emergency. Come to find out it was just a stupid call from a random number. Tried calling it back and it said the number was incorrect obviously because it wasn't a 10 digit number

Got a call at 9:40 pm from 266 696 687 and another at 9:50 pm. No last digit. No message. Sprint service.
