Guy calls all the time, calls me by name trying to sell tools.  He's psycho and won't take no for an answer.  Screams obsenities.  He's a real nutcase and will not stop calling.

This afternoon, a man called and asked to speak to the president of our company (we're a GC) by name. When I told him he was out of the office but would take a message, he demanded a cell #. Claimed to be Jimmy Jones from Jones Construction and he had a lot of bids in with us. Told him I wasn't authorized to give out the cell #, and he started saying how it was terrible, he'd dropped his cell, broke the screen & couldn't see the contact info. Told him the best I could do was take down his name & # and he said, "tell the president to call me immediately, he knows what it's about" and hung up. Creepy.

Caller sounded nasty when he started talking.  Asked for my husband by name. Then said he was at the corner of (our street) and would be at our house in 2 minutes and for me to be outside.  I asked who he was and he said his name was John and that he was coming to collect the rest of the money.  Since we don't owe anybody money and nobody showed up, I checked out the number and see all the complaints.  Then I got scared.

Just got a call from this number asking for an employee. He gave me the name of "Steve Smith" with "Steve Construction". When I told him the employee was not in, he wanted his cell phone number. I told him I was unable to give out that information. He told me he would be calling back but now that I have done some research on this number and have read all the previous posts, I think I will record our next phone conversation and hand it over to the authorities.

This guy Stan Smith from Smith construction called my office and asked for me by name, my secretary said i was out to lunch, which i was, he asked for my cell and she told him no...He used profane language and hung up

I have received calls from this number and the guy said a business name the first time I spoke with him, but I don't remember the name. I hadn't heard from him until today.  He talk as if he knew me - wanted my cell phone and email address so we could communicate on the internet.  Said something about getting together for a blind date.  Creepy!  Wanted to send me his picture so I could see his abs!  Do you every locate people using this number?

I got a call from this number yesterday. The caller asked for the previous holder of the phone number: a defunct concrete company, out of business for many years.
"Hello, Mike?"
"Who is this?"
"What's the matter Mike, don't you recognize me?"
"If you were as close to Mike as you want me to believe you are, you'd know that this hasn't been Mike's cellphone number since before June of 2007"
"That's almost funny"
At which point I hung up my phone.
I get this stuff all the time. It had subsided until an online contracting advertisement listed this defunct company as actively in business, now the calls have resumed.
AT&T and other carriers suely have a way to help stop this and other unsolicitated/unwelcomed phone activity but don't seem interested in aiding the general public in stopping it.
If somebody is able to catch/apprehend/prosecute this peticular clown, please post it here so we all know.

this caller calls my cell phone several times per week. I answered the first call a few months ago and have not answered since the first call. The first call he introduced his company as contractors supply I told him we're not interested and asked him not to call back. I guess he doesn't understand english...

Calls alot asking for the owner of the company.  Usually I dismiss him with telling him he's out.  Usually asks for cell phone number, but today he had it!  I have no idea how he got this number.
I tried calling the number back but "call cannot be completed as dialed"
Is there anyway to find his information to report him?

Castle Construction called our office and asked for the owner by name. I asked may I tell him who calling he gave a name and when I asked what job it referred to he said he just needed to talk to the owner. I told him I would get his number and call him back. He threatened me physically and screamed that we were being sued.

I did some home work through a friend and found out that they are a high pressure materials sales company. With most of their sales come from people who are harassed into purchasing from them. Once you order they keep sending more stuff without approval. (Don't Ever Buy). They are located in New Jersey and use more than one hijacked number.

Best method to make them stop. Go get a canned sports type horn. when they call tell them you are getting the person they want to talk to. Get your horn and tell them your connecting them and then blast there ears.

They will stop.

I have the distinct impression after reading this thread, that your boss will very much appreciate you NOT giving the number.

He keeps calling saying he's with Castle construction, the number says no name every time, he always threatens me with "your boss isn't going to appreciate you not giving me the number".

Incredibly rude, dropped the F bomb when I wouldn't surrender a cell #

A man called and wanted to talk to Rob. I said Rob not here.Demanded cell # said
of a case of penetrating oil! .Demanded cell phone, said he would receive and order
from UPS .I refused and. He would not tell me his name or company

Today this man is Jim Jones from Jones Construction.  He asked for my husband by name, when I said he wasn't in he asked for his cell humber. Told him I didn't have one to give him, then silence.  I hung up.  It will be interesting to see if he calls again.

I received a phone call from this number 267 279-9585 and told me that he was going to send me some blades in the mail. I told him that I didn't want anything and he told me that he will send it and if I won't pay it my credit would be damaged.e

Female caller who knew my first name asked how I was doing. WHen I twice asked her what she wanted she said "Is that the way you talk to me a***ole?" - then hung up

I received a cal on my cell from this number; however I didn't answer it and no massage was left.

This gentleman and I use that term loosely called my sons business number.  When I told him he was not in he wanted his cell number.  When I told him I could not give that number out he became very rude.

A guy called from this number asking for the owner by name.  When I told him he's not in the office he was very rude and told me to give him the cell phone number.  I told him I couldn't give that out without out knowing who was calling.  He made gave me the name of a company that we are not currently doing business with so I told him I would have to take a message and have the owner call him back.  He said, and I quote: "f*** you is the message.  Give me the cell number."  I was shocked.  I told him that I was recording the call and he just kept repeating "f*** you, f*** you, f*** you".  UNBELIEVABLE!

This number just called my house AGAIN, asking for my husband by name.  It was a different person than the first time. When I said he wasn't home, he asked for an alternate number.  I told him that I had reported this number the other day, but did ask what it was in reference to.  He said, "business".  I told him to stop calling and that I would report this number once again.  He said, in a nasty tone, "Walk in the way of the Lord, lady", to which I replied......"I will....you do the same"  and hung up.

This number called our office line and when the office adimin anserwered he the calmly said very vulgar things that terribly disturbed her and hung up.  What kind of person is this and what is he getting our of it?  I wonder what his reasoning for speaking to a lady like this is.  This guy has no consience and is probalby a dangerous person although people around him may not know it.  If he will speak to a lady this way what would he do physically to a women if he thought he could get away with it and no one ever know?

I hope someone her or somewhere can somehow find out who this is and get him off the streets because eventually I believe he will harm someone with more than words if he hasn't already.  You can clearly see how sick this individual is.  Scary!

This guy just called my home number asking for my husband (a general contractor) by name.  Said his name was Nate Davis and he needed my husband's cell phone number to confirm some bid prices that are due tomorrow.  When I asked specifically what the bids were for, he said "tomorrow";  I asked him for what job, he said "for tomorrow".  Finally, I asked for his number so my husband could call HIM, and he hung up.  Sketchy.

This guy is a creep. He had the wrong name of my employer but, it did not keep him from spewing.

this guy called me twice on my cell- said something about how we knew each other- said he was from somewhere in the west- very creepy!!!!

Guy called our office # asking by name for one of our bosses  he said he was at the job site and wanted the bosses cell #. He was told the boss was not in and to give a call back #. Said some BS that his number didnt work and he was using a formans cell and was not allowed to give out the # . What he did not know is he was speeking to one of the other bosses when he tried giving a foney client and job site name.Total scam! Caller I.D. showed call was from Philadelphia PA.
