They're still at it. Called 4/18. Left no message when I didn't pick up.

I politely interrupted the fellow and informed him that if I wanted a cruise that I would jump in my jalopy and hit the red light district with my buds ...and hung up. Like that's gonna happen again...

The Do Not Call Registry is a joke. I've gotten as many as 6 calls a day, I went back to check to see if my # was still there. Reporting the number does absolutely nothing, another fine government entity.

Darn, another missed cruise.

This is spam number, robo calling number. Reverse dialing gets a disconnected automatic response.

This one wouldn't quit calling. Finally got the number into the Google database as a modified contact. I chose one that I don't call and renamed it "Spammer One." Then I changed the number of that contact to 267-309-6203 and marked it BLOCK. Now it's immediately blocked. They must ring multiple numbers at one time and respond to the first phone answered, so the number is never registered as an incoming call on Google Voice if someone else answers before the home phone ring limit setting. Caller ID was "Out of area."

Called my home phone, said cell phone is all it said. I didn't answer.
| Rosie 2014-04-18 17:47:02 Unknown |
Called my cell phone a short while ago. Didn't recognize the number and didn't answer. They did not leave a message, but as the phone only rang 3 times the voicemail wouldn't have picked up anyway.

Verizon is responsible for these phone calls....they issue these phones and allow their use to make bogus calls. This needs to be STOPPED

Getting these calls multiple times a week.
| djc 2014-04-18 17:02:12 Unknown |
Answering verifies your number so they can use it again or share it. Answering also wastes minutes.

I signed up for career builder and put my resume out. Now I get endless calls and e-mails from scammers. Career builder, Monster are a complete waste of your time.

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time. This one is for a "Free cruise." Our government is WORTHLESS especially when it comes to blocking these calls. The only other course of action is this:
Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize. When you do, all you are doing is confirming for them that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back PLUS sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too. If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does). If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.
Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam. It doesn't work either.
Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home. If it answer then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number. Have a pleasant day. Sure am glad too for websites like this. Wonder what would happen if everyone stopped answering these calls. IF they got no answers then would they just give up and die ?
