Scam, do not call back, if u call back u will be charged by carrier for premium service, adult chat, that's the scam they want u to call them

I got a call from this phone number, (1-268-762-0021) at 6:38 pm on February 4th 2014. It rang twice and hung up before I could answer it.....I did try to call it back but it said it could not be dialed the way I dialed it and nothing happened. I do not know anyone in that region or country and I do not know why anyone would call me from this number.....I do know that I do NOT want to receive anymore calls from these idiots.

Newspaper says they call, ring once and then hang up.  The curious will call the number back and get changed $20 for that and then charged each minute thereafter for holding on.  They have no intention of talking to you!  

The caller ID has been rigged to show that number. The calls are not coming from Antigua and Barbuda.  But just to be safe the government has disabled those numbers being reported.  

The number has been disconnected in Antigua and the government is investigating.  
It appears the caller id had been setup to show that number but the call never came from Antigua.

The scam is designed to prey on your curiosity. If you call the number back, the scammers slap your phone bill with a $20 connection fee, and then keep charging you $9 a minute as you wait for a real person to come on the line.
Most of the calls are coming from Caribbean countries with U.S.-like area codes. One of the numbers that show up on your caller ID is 268-762-0021

Just saw this number posted on Channel 10 News and found it is a scam. If you called the number, you better check your phone bill. It just charged $20 and will charge $9 every month. The BBB is aware. They are praying on peoples curiosity to call back after only ringing once.

Recieved two call from this number did not answer or call back but also recieved another call same number as above but last digits ********45

Received call and hung up

Called me at 5:25 AM.  No answer. Hung up on me when asked who it was. I am getting calls every morning at around 5:30AM with the area code of 268 and prefix of 762

Received a call  at 7:25 am did not answer.  How can I get this blocked?

I got a call from (268) 762-0021. It rang twice than stopped no message. I was going to call them back. Looks like its a good thing I didn't.

I just got a call this evening but it only rang once.  I added this to my block call list.

Thank you.  Just got a call from that number and I didn't answer.  Glad I googled the number before calling them back.

ONE RING PHONE SCAM

this number is from the Caribbean. if you try to call back you may incure international fee of $19.95 plus $9.95 per minute charge call. I had missed call from this number saturday morning and my employer sent out an email warning us about this as well. DO NOT CALL IT BACK!! As someone else posted, if its important and you dont recognize the number, they'll call back or leave a message.

I am getting them as well. I realized that these calls all started when I donated a large sum of money to a Mormon relief fund. I guess they are selling the information like phone lists to 3rd parties. Hmmmm

I received a call from 2687620021 at 5:15 this AM...argggggh...this is the 3 number that calls in the wee hours that is a scammer from the caribbean. I blocked this one too. Don't call back, you will get a long distance charge calling either Antigua, Granada, or some other country.

Same story.  One ring this morning while I was enjoying my coffee.  No message.  Vermin.

Just got a call from 268-762-0021.  Heard tonight on the evening news that any call from area code is a scam to get you to call back.  HUGE fees of $25.00 US to connect & around $9.00 per minute. DO NOT call back.

Rec'd the Grenada call tonight @ 9:33 PM, no message, came here because Friday night @10:15 PM I rec'd a call from this number (268) Antigua. Great to find out here before I got scammed, but the credit history stuff scares me. And I'm not a target shopper. These are rampant over the last few days I guess

Received a call at 08:17 this morning 2/2/14 to my cell phone. It rang once and then a hang up. I never answer calls if I do not recognize the telephone number. There was no message. I also do not return calls from unknown numbers.

Received a call from268-762-0132 on the morning of 1/24/14.  Also did not answer and no message.

I'm just 12 and it rung once than stopped. Home by myself. I am scared to death!!!!!
