Calling from Antigua/Barbuda.  Don't answer; block number.  

I kept getting calls from this number but ignoring it.  A few days ago, I got a call from it again so I called it back because we have had family out of town and I was afraid it might be them.  I heard the report of scam calls on cell phones this morning on the local radio station so I Googled the phone number and it was confirmed a scam.  

received call from this number at 4:30 a.m.  there was one ring I did not call it back I had heard about a scam involving this  area code  

Kind of funny this is happening so suddenly... any websites you remember giving your phone number out to recently?

called and answered no one answered called back  says wrong number from reading it is a scam good luck in trying to ad to my cell phone as it is a straight talk phone

This is a call back number that charges if you call it back..it is a scam called "1 ring" you have missed call then call it back..big $$

I received a call from 268-762-0023 on Sunday morning at 12:59AM!  It rang once.  I called it back Sunday morning at 9:48amAM  but nobody answered the phone, leaving me in an automated hold.  I hope I am not charged for this call!  It is a scam!!!

Thank you!  I just got a call from this number on my cell phone - rang twice and hung up.  I did not recognize the number, but had read about this scam and am relieved to see that someone has already done us all a favor to report it here!

Received a call from number 268-762-0023. This is a scam as reported by the Better Business Bureau. It is called the one ring scam. Your phone will ring once and then they hang up. They are expecting you to call back, at which point you will be charge 30.00 and an additional fee for each minute afterwards. Be aware of this scam and let your family and friends know about it.

Just got the same call 2 rings then hang up,

No one should be able to be scammed like this.Aren't there Fcc rules. Aren't there people out there that will prosecute someone for this?

One and two ring calls from Caribbean Country's (Montserrat, Dominica,Jamaica, Grenada,  Antiqua and Barbados, Saint Lucia, Anguilla ..) should not be called back! These calls are done so you will call them back and cram your phone bill with high Call costs:

It is a scam from the carribian don't call back or I could charge you money

Called at 10:35 p.m and at 4:33 am no clue..

Called at 350 pm and hung up do not know who they are, dont do business with them and I am on the do not call registry!

Got a csll at midnight. Second time. Checked my bill but nothing yet...

Before I could answer they hung up I was going to call back but decided to look the number up I have caller ID so the location pops up on my phone as well.

This number is a scam don't answer!!

Check your cell phone bill this month.  This phone number is a scam used by foreigners.  When you call back the number charges to your cell phone bill different amounts.  Call your cell phone provider and see if you have had some mysterious charges lately show up on your phone bill.
