The news media is reporting: These calls originate from outside the United States.  When you call the number back to see who called you, your cellular carrier is billed  upto $20 up front and then $9 for each additional minute. Call came in at 12:08 am. This appears to be part of the current phone scam going around.

Phone call from 268-762-0046.  Do not want to receive calls from this number again.

This number keeps calling my husbands cell.  The only time we ever get calls from someplace exotic is when we have family going on vacation.  They have no reason to call his number.

I don't know anyone in Barbados/Antigua, so when I got this call I declined, then blocked number from calling again

This is a scam.  They call and hang up hoping you will call back which gives them the ability to charge your phone bill. The scammers can set up the number to act like a 900 number and add charges to bills that can top $20 for the first minute.

I have gotten a call from this # twice in a row very late at night. I did not answer the call, nor did I call it back. I hope the person (s) get stopped soon.

Received two calls from 268-76200046and also another number both from Antigua /Barbuda . How can I rid myself of this harassment and what is their intent?

Call came from a listing in Antigua/Barbuda. This is the 2nd time in about 3 weeks. Did not answer either time - merely because the calls came at an inopportune time - I would have refused to answer - if I had seen it was a number in a location I've never been to. Don't know anyone there either. Trying to figure out how to block the call - as I might inadvertently answer automatically next time.

Don't call back you will incur long distance charges.

Same thing. Called at 5:54am. Reading previous posts- I guess I don't understand how scammers would benefit from a long distance call charge, were someone to actually call them back. Wouldn't your cell phone service provider be the only ones who profit?

I got a 5:30 am call - 2 rings and hang up - located somewhere in Barbados

Midnight EST rings once...558pm EST same thing. Shows Barbados. Also 2687620042 has done same thing.

This number just called me at 17:15 MST.  It rang once and they hung up.  It's surely some type of spam/scam.
