This is definitely a  SCAM, the call is from Antiqua, they want you to answer the call.  That way YOU will be charged an enormous amount of money for Long Distance.  They are also sending out a text:   7829945494@privatecellsolutions.com ,   DO  NOT  RESPOND !   Notify your  telephone service carrier, States Attorney's Office and even Federal Communication Commission.

The area code on this number is one which has been in the news lately.  The Better Business Bureau has reported that there's a scam going around where your phone will ring once.  If you call back, there's a charge of $20 and you are asked to hold.  The minutes pile up at $9/minute and so does your bill.  Here's a link to the news story which was on in Pittsburgh recently:  http://www.wtae.com/news/local/allegheny/bett ... wz/-/index.html

Besides 268, some of the other area codes are 473, 809, 876, and 284.  I'm going to add 610 to that list because my business cell has received several of these "one ring" calls.

Got a quick hang-up call. Antigua and Barbados call, same area code and prefix as a bunch of scams. If you call back you get a high-cost phone service (no, I didn't); I saw reports of anything to keep you on the line.

Got several calls from this #. News said they r scams. They want you to call back then the phone comp  charges you a lot of money and you can't get it taken off. I feel the phone comp. need to be held responsible. This has been happening on my land line and wireless phone.  >:(

Received a call at 7:49 a.m. but I was sleeping and didn't hear the call. When I looked up the number on the internet, it appears to be tied to a scammer in Antigua who call and hang up to get the target of the scam to call back so a large international call can be billed to them.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number just shy of 1am and within a couple of minutes my husband got a call on his cell phone..... our phone numbers are not that different so we figured telemarketers.

Got a call from this no. at 1 am. No message but woke me up

just received a call to my cell from this number and didn't answer it...planning to block it.  yesterday received one from 268-762-0156 didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message

They called me on 1/23/14 at 9:17am but left no voicemail. I just got a call from a Grenada phone number today 473-456-1759. Same thing. No message, and I know no one from these areas.

Same as all the above. Also the same for 268-762-0040. Multiple calls one after the other, all going directly into voice mail, without leaving a message. When calling back, told it couldn't connect me.

Seems like the "scam" must originate at the local phone company. Seems like they are the only ones who benefit from this scam.

Received one-ring call. No caller's voice, No message ! It  probably is a scam call from Antigua/Barbuda as shown on the phone screen.
