Is this a scam too ???

get these calls BLOCKED! these people kept calling my mother, who has Alzheimer's so she called them back more than once. Verizon helped me block all unidentified calls from her phone for a small fee of $5  it will save me big bucks in the long run!!! BLOCK these calls for your wallets sake!

I received a call on February 4, 2014 in the evening and it rang twice and they hung up before I could answer.  When I saw Antigua I figured it was a scam.

Mine rang for a while before I got in the other room to answer. Picked up and nothing. On my work phone which never rings. So it doesn't just ring once...!

getting calls on both of our cell phones, at the same time..did not answer them since we are not expecting calls from out of the country..suspect it is a hack or something..

This number has called my cell every day for the past week. I did shop at Target, as was told by my bank I was compromised.  Dont answer. Dont call back.

Its a scam. Apparently if you call back they will hit you up for $20 and then $9 per additional minute

Got this call last night at 10:00 pm. on my cell phone.  It rang once and I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  Glad I didn't!  I am on the do not call list, but I guess that doesn't matter.  I will add it to blocked numbers.  I just read a story on Yahoo yesterday about these scam calls.  Don't call them back...it can cost you over $20 a minute!!

268-762-0155 called and rings less than 2 rings and immediately hung up .....  I was only looking at the phone to see which # was calling me ....

Anyhow, after reading posts on the internet, the calls from Antigua/Barbuda are phishing type of calls and IF you called back, you will be charged with very high cost of international long distance call rates.....

SCAM, do not call back, no matter what it says..... Verizon users are getting calls indicating it's verizon and want the user to call back.....

CALL TYPE:   SCAM / PHISHING.  DO NOT CALL BACK.

This, number calls all the time.

I missed their call 3 times. Don't know are they! Will block this number.  Gosh, they have no other better things to do?

BBB Issued a warning about a one ring scam originating in the Caribbean.  If you call the number back you phone bill gets whacked $30.

I just got called from this number and it seems to be an escaped murderer looking for a victim,,,beware.

Received a call from this number.  I tried calling it back and got a recording that it was a non-working number

received  call today from 268-762-0155. Did not answer it. It rang 1 1/2 times before disconnecting. I have heard of a thing called "1 ring scam" and am wondering if this was one of those calls?

got yet another call from the number 268-762-0155. I see several people are getting the same number and rings, you answer, no one on the line, it hangs up?   Is this serious?

What's REALLY weird is that NONE of the other people posting on this thread have family or relatives living in Antigua or Barbudas!

You don't need international service to receive calls from outside the US.

Have received calls from this number, and it appears so have a lot of people. Anyone know how to figure out who is on the other end? I mean actual getting names to report to government? I'm always interested in sticking it to someone..

It is a scam. It's called "The one ring scam". They call you and whem you pick up they hang up in hopes that you call back. At that time you will be automatically charged 19.99 by your phone carrier for international calling then 9.99 a  minute after that. Do not answer or call back this number or any number from that area code if you don't know anyone there just to be on the safe side!

Called Superbowl Sunday at 4 am.  Blocking the number.

Contact your cell provider.  They can probably block the calls.  Or put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That will send the calls to voicemail without disturbing you.




And get your keyboard fixed.  You are typing in all caps.

HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA. REALLY ANNOYING AT 1-2 IN THE MORNING. DONT REALLY WANT TO HAVE TO CHANGE MY CELL PHONE NUMBER. ANY IDEAS HOW TO GET THEM TO STOP?!?!?!!?
