They are trying to get you to change your natural gas company from consumers energy. Obvious scam since you must have a 1 year contract. If they could win customers through lower costs alone, they would. Very annoying repeat calls. They will also prey on senior citizens, who are gulible and change them without their knowledge.

got 2 calls within one hour but they never leave a message. they have called my home alot in the past and never have left messages. the first call tonight on caler id showed private the other blocked but the number shows.

called twice within just over an hour but left no messages. caller id showed 'private number' on first call and 'blocked' on second call but the number shows up.

Called twice yesterday and they hang up as soon as you say "hello". After the 2nd hang-up, I called back, and it went to a fast-busy signal.
Time to shut them down, based on similar feedback!

Call called 12/30/2011, asking for the person who handles the consumers bills. I told him I could. The man claims to be from some consumers energy company and he has been trying to get a hold of us for a long time because we are paying way too much for our bill, even though he doesn't know my name. Want me to "dig out my bill". I told him he would have to call back later to talk to my husband because he was sleeping. The man said, "When is he waking up, one hr, two hrs...when?" I said "I don't know when ever he wakes up."
Another call from a Mike Thomas said he was from Santa Energy and was recording this I told him not to call back, He would not hang up and I told him I was writing on the site.

this isn't the first time i've seen this number. i got this number in february and whoever had this phone before me "maryann" had some bad debt cuz every debt collector calls continuously.
