they called...i picked up and they didn't answer.. i called back..said number had been disconnected.  Had a nationalcity accnt and closed it.

This number and also the 1-800-544-3623 (ext. 34655) keep calling me -- about 4 to 6 times a day, even on weekends! I called it once, but didn't put in the extension, as there was no identifying information. I've also had two partial messages left on my voice mail (like a pre-recorded message kicks on and is almost over by the time my voicemail starts recording).  I also have National City accounts, two open and one closed.

I got the same call and no longer have a National City account.  I tried to enter a fraudulent account number just to see what would happen and it said the number was invalid.  Then I couldn't get an operator.

I called the real National City and reported this to their fraud department.

I received the same message,from the same phone number, 269-376-1000 called it and it's not in service. If it was a valid call, they would identify themselves...and reference what the call is about...the message said to call
888-514-9121 x34658.

Same number, but I didn't answer. No message was left either. Funny...I have a national city account that is still active. weird.

They called me twice this morning and 3 other times in the past two days.  It is getting annoying since I don't get voicemails from them.

I have been getting the one from800-544-3623 for a while now.  And i atually do owe money for a NatCit credit card.  I just started getting this one today. But isn't there a rule that give a limit to how many time they can call.  I got NINETEEN missed (ignored) calls from them yesterday. 19! seriously.

I got calls from this number and left me a message saying that "I need to call them today " .They called on weekends too ! I have an account with National City too but it has been about 3 years since I used it .

The call is collections, you idiots, the number that shows up on caller ID has to be different so someone else in your house can't call it and find out they're collecting on you. and if you'd try not entering a fraudulent number you'd know that when you called back. btw, the "Real" national city, the number on the back of your card, is card services, with offices adjacent to collections, and when dumbasses like you call in, they laugh about your attempted report with the collections agents.

Received a call from this number (came up as Kalamazoo, MI) and there was a recorded message left saying to call 1-800-544-3623 x34655 today.  They didn't identify who they were or who they were calling for.  I tried the 800 number and all it said was to enter the extension number...no company name or anything.  I didn't go any furhter than that.

I have 2 National City accounts and they are both current.  I wonder if that's how they got the numbers.  I'm just going to ignore them if they call again

This number called me and the girl was a friend of my ex's girlfriend and threatened to kill me if I contacted him again.  He doesn't believe me because when he tried to call the number it said it was disconnected.  Please help she is psychotic and I am worried.  Ps she just got out of prison on  drug charges and is also on on parole for a weapons charge but he says if she said she didn't have anything to do with it he believes her

The number is a National City number thats running through an ancient dialer that may be cranked up to high or it does several calls to see if it gets a person or answering machine before it leaves a message.  The message directs the person answering the phone to call National City about their bank account and to call a 1800 number with an extension.  The number is for member card services wich is visa and mastercard accounts for those who are behind on payments or just not paying their debt's like they should wether it be to uncontrolable issues or outright laziness.  

So basicly what this means is that everyone up here has an account with National City that they are behind on and need to pay on the account before it goes to a lawyer.

kalamazoo MI is the corp office of national city bank

I think it is national city.  I owed them some money and they were laying on the calls from Michigan area codes and leaving messages.  I just assume it's them.  Take my advice, don't answer, just give them the money.

I get these calls, too, and don't answer. Interesting about National City Bank. National City, a Cleveland, OH bank, does run its buisness banking operations out of Kalamazoo, MI. Could be legitimate. I think I'll answer next time.

I received a call from this number today, as well.  I decided to pick up, and heard a recorded message.  It was a man's voice, telling me to call National City regarding my account.  He gave me a phone number to call as well, as an extension.  

However, later that day, I had to call National City about a separate issue, and I asked them if they had been trying to reach me.  The customer service representative said there was nothing on my account to indicate as such.

Has to be National City. I get dead air when they call but I do know I owe National City some money. :(

They told you to make a deposit into your account after detecting fraud on your account.  That is not National City bank you are talking to genius.

Got a call from them this morning at 9:54 AM.

Caller phoned my cell phone at 9:51 am CDT while I was at work. When I called the 1-800 number that they gave me from my work phone, it turned out to be a phone relationship or sex line. I called my bank to see if they made the call, and it turns out they did not. They said someone has gone from phishing e-mail addresses to phone numbers now. Just wanted to report the scam.

I just remembered....I have a national city Visa account as well. however, it is current, so I'm not sure they are calling to collect a debt.

They have called me 23 times within the last 4 Days.

This call was tracked and re-directed to 1-800-844-3623 (At&T) sounds like a generic rip-off service that asks for an access code I have obtained a ext. 34655 if you get a-hold of some one tell them to shove it.... in their a**!!!


~~This is a number from Kalamazoo, MI (Eastern Time Zone, by the way).  I even tried to use the professional reverse lookup tools I have at work for all of you, but I'm not able to find out who the number is.  Most likely it's a hub # from some business here in town.  Usually hub numbers show up this way (the bank I work from shows like this, for example).  Not much I can recommend doing but making sure you're on the National Do Not Call list and making sure to report this # if it calls you again once you've been added to the national list.  Hope this helps!

The number called and the answering machine picked up. They left a message, but it was so garbled we couldn't understand it. Not going to worry about it for now.

Keep getting calls from this number. Always a hang up or a recorded voice when answering. Live in Ohio.

This number has called me twice in the past week.  I don't pick up because I don't recognize it and there is no message left.

REceived call but did not answer phone because I didn't recognize the number.  I am on my state's no call list, so I don't know why I'm getting calls from this organization.
