I found out today, that a merchant I had bought from actually SOLD my credit card number to Buyers Savings Club and Vista Services was trying to puch a sale on me.

Here's a kicker. Earlier this year we were victims of identity theft. Found out "Vista" had pade a purchase on a brand new debit card and then BAM we were eiped out, literally.  Call your States attorney generals office, call the Florida's Attorney Generals office, then file claim against them in small claims court for furtherance and enabling identity theft through credit card scams.

Just got a call from them, or close to it.

They offered free $120 gas savings voucher with a savings program to preview for 7 days, I can cancel and keep the gas vouchers. Shipping is $2.95 and they already had my credit card number.  The number to cancel was 800-660-0016

Then they say something about magazines for $1.00 for the first 6 months, call 800-23-2956 to cancel OK? Well, no, not really, I already get the magazines I want, and I got them for $2.00 from a company whose name I recognize (iRobot gave me this incentive, nice people :)

Then they say for $3.95 shipping I will get a free trial for "Auto Discounts." I asked them to repeat the number, he was going so fast it was 866-674-9805. and if I said yes, they would forward my billing info to them. (I don't think they have a valid card number, lol, but I pretended it was anyways :)

I'll let you guys know if I get anything or see any charges from them, then we will know if it is a full-blown Scam, or just someone reselling trials in the hopes you won't cancel in time (like those people I see on TV 20 times a day!)

I refused the gas vouchers and everything else, but am going to let my card issuer know and change my card number.  They mentioned Target but they had my work number, so it could have been related to orders or registrations associated with my job.

Don't know who called me from this number, said something about an order that I placed but if it was a company they didn't leave the company name. I wish they would stop pestering people

I (my wife) has been getting calls from this number now every hour. It is a cell. It is on the Federal DO NOT CALL and the State of Florida also.
This is pissing me off. I have reported this # to both places and will use this website URL as evidence of it too.

I do nt know who the eff this is but since 11am this morning they've called my government blocked do not call list 7 times. Each time we have missed connections. Well I am finished working now and can it wait for them to call again! They better say something like publishers clearing house or be ready to get oversold by me and my German temper. Come call me agin I dare you.

I have been getting calls from this number for about a week. I finally answered last night-they said I had won a gas voucher due to a recent purchase made with my cc(they had the last 4 digits). I asked to know which purchase got me qualified, the gentleman said he did not know. I told him i was not interested and hung up. My husband is a deputy and said to tell the telemarketers to quit calling bc their calls are harrasing. Again, they called this AM. Oddly, this time my voucher had decreased by 950 dollars! ha! I told the guy to remove me from their contact list or i would seek legal advice. he said "why, you dont even know what youre receiving". needless to say, I am reporting them to my bank and police department!

They called and said I was a 'preferred customer' and had my last four digits of my credit card and what type of credit card it was.  They also knew where I lived.  Basically they told me that nothing was wrong with the card but that I am a preferred customer and they are offering me BP gas gift cards, and that I would be getting a package in the mail and would have to pay the shipping fee.  When I told them no thank you, he hung up on me.  I called me credit card company right afterwards, and they didn't know anything about it.  Also this company called my work, which my credit card company does not have.  HUGE Scam.  If they call you, you need to cancel your card, and switch to a new one!

I get calls from 269-477-2150 every couple of weeks, but I never answer.  The first time they called I looked up their number.  I figured it was probably a scam and according to what I've read here, that seems to be the case.  I will never answer.  Is there any way to get them on a block list?

I just started receiving calls from this company yesterday (4 so far). This morning, I spoke with a woma who gave me the same story ($120 in gas rebates; sign up for "coupon savings" to be mailed out at $26.92 /month; confirming my order; asking to charge me $2.95 to ship it out for free).
She knew where I lived and the last four of my credit card, but could not tell me where I made a purchase. I have asked her not to call me anymore. We'll see if it works.

I told the last person to call me from this number that I would contact my attorney, since my  husband is in law enforcement and knows what protocol to follow. He's lame response before hanging up on me "my dad is a cop too and you cant do anything about it." Im reporting this number and fake company to Better Business Bereau, my bank, and local authorities. Both my husband and I are replacing our cards. PLEASE let your bank know what is going on..just in case. I have 2 friends, both under different circumstances, who have been victims in the last week of identity theft!!!!

Something about confirming delivery of an order. I hung up.

They've called me from this number 4 times today - twice in the last 40 minutes!!!

I also said it sounded like a scam and I want my name OFF.  He very quickly thanked me for my time and hung up.  I called my CC company and asked if any purchases have been made from vista.. they said no.  I told them the story about the $2.95 S&H and that it seems like a BS scam  to me, and if any charges show up they are unauthorized.  They said no problem, that they will watch for it and take it off if it occurs since I called in advance.  Make sure to check your bank statements!!!

I have received 12 - 15 calls per day from this number.  When I did pick up the phone, the man calling said he had to "verify" some personal information.  I knew right away it was a scam, gave him no personal information, and I just hung up on him.  They have called 3 more days since, 12 - 15 times per day.  Don't answer the phone and please don't give them any personal information!  Listed on my caller ID as: "CustomerService."

I received the calls as well about 10 times and finally picked up today. The man said where he was from (Vista) and said I had 100 dollar gift coming in the mail. I told him No Thank you and he said too bad that it was already coming to my home address, which he read off to me. I asked if this was a scam and of course he got upset and said why no way. HAHA! I will have to check my account to see if they charged me anything. Just a waste of our time.

They just called me twice in the last 2 hours, no messages or anything.

I have also received this phone call today 7 times since 11 am this morning and it's only 6.  I have not answered any of the calls yet...because I've been busy and missed them.  But I appreciate the info I received here as it will help me to give somebody, on the other end of the phone, a piece of my mind when I do answer.  thanks

They have called a couple of times.  I just picked up the call the second time and they didn't answer, so I googled the number and look what I found!  I am gonna be pretty annoyed if they keep calling as many indicate here. I need to use one of these strategies to get rid of them.  How do they get your cell phone number?

same thing happens to me. i called back and there is an option to "no longer receive calls" or "be added to eternal no-call list." is that part of the scam?

This is getting ridiculous.  Give me a break.  I won't answer EVER

I was getting numerous phone calls from 616-980-1152. When I reported that number the calls stopped and I started getting them from 269-477-2150. I have not answered any of the calls, but now wonder if they may be connected in some way.
