Recd call , told the guy we are not in MI and that guy hung up.
It seems it was actually from police dept if the following website is correct. I receive dozens of calls from bogus people claiming to be from police asking for donation and indirectly threatening if we are unable to pay. Why aren't the police catching these bogus guys ?

I got a call this morning asking for me by name and saying he was with the fraternal order of police and wanted donations for our police department, he said he know that I know our police department work hard in protecting us. THEY don't our police department are a joke when I told him that he hung up. Never give donations over the phone when someone calls. Sad thing is our police here are a joke they don't want to do their job but they want the money.

I receive a call asking for money for the FOP at least twice a year. How successful do you think I would be if I started calling random people asking for a donation to my 'I live in Michigan and am experiencing the worst economic crisis in my lifetime fund'? I get so little public service for my tax dollar as it is. Why do I have to be pestered with these calls?

These people are called the Michigan Fraternal order police. They are a unch of police officers that put on fund raisers, they sound dead seriouse on the phone, really anoying look it up on google.

Called said they were Michigan F.O.P health care corp. Asked for my daughter who wasn't here at the time so they said they would call back. Unsure what they want. Caller I.D showed MI F.O.P
