Do no business with Nationstar Mortgage aka Anthony Barone. They called me constantly when I was retired from my job. Saying "you are 65, how can you pay off a 30yr fixed mortgage?  I had already paid on it 12yrs, 20% down, was making my payments!  They said, we are here to help you, we will buy your home for the balance due.  When I refused they raised my payment to triple the original saying I would get a shorter mortgage. They changed my contract without my permission, I sued them! This man Anthony Barone is a crook who preys on people, he needs to go to jail!!

Nationstar Mortgage is of the most deceptive, unprofessional, unprincipaled company, I have ever had to deal with. I am loosing my home because of the F...crooks!!! I have been paying my payments. Now out of the blue allgedly I owe almost $4000,00 in late payments!!!!!!!!!! I have submitted letters of complaints to Texas Attorney General, HUD, FTC and Texas Dept. of savings and Mortgage lending. Although I certain none of the agencies can assist me. Nationstar has a masochist bunch of lawyers, who lie and cheat just like their bosses.

Called this number back, it was an outsourced call for Quicken Loans, wanting to know it I want to refinance a mortgage or take out a personal loan.

I received multiple calls from this number on weekends and week days beginning at around 11am PDT. No message is ever left.

Called it back, they say press two to be removed from calling grid. I pressed 2... If I get more calls I will post. If I hear nothing, neither will anyone else.

Just started receiving a call from this number about 2 weeks ago. Every time I call back their phone is busy. Got through once about 3 days ago, they indicated they were a mortgage company and did sound middle-eastern

They called me at least 50 times in the last 2 week and disconnect when I pick up. Finally today someone with a have Pakistani accent picked up gave me his name as Steven James..... And I asked then which company they are calling from and they said Quicken loans. I called qucken loans and they confirmed that $269 768 2191 is not their phone # and there's no Steven James working for them.

I am getting calls from this number, so I called the 888 number for Nationstar, finally found a way to get to a person (punch 6 to "refinance"), demanded to get taken off the call list. Representative said "the number is not on my list" but refused to say it was not a Nationstar number.

Same story. Calls twice daily. No message.

Keep getting calls from 269-768-2191.  I don't have a mortgage nor am I interested.  I want them to stop.

Received one call yesterday and another this morning. Both times there was no message left. I dialed the number back but I only get a busy tone.

if they are calling your cell phone and you have Verizon, just go to vtext.com and block their number. I did and now they can't get through.

I finally answered it and they hung up on me! Must have heard I wasn't really happy!!!

this caller keeps calling my cellphone, i do not answer phone calls from unknown numbers and now i am concerned, i do not have any mortgage and i wonder why they keep calling? but i am not ready to answer their phone calls

This is an unsolicited call that I want stopped.  When you try to call back the number is busy.  This is a form of harrassment & I want it stopped.  They will not leave a message either.  I am also on the DNC registry.

A suggestion, not just for this number, but for all other numbers listed on this site that are from outfits that call you repeatedly:  Buy a  telephone that with Call Block which allows you to
block specific phone numbers. I bought one last year, and it saved me no end of aggravation over this type of call. Panasonic has a model #KX-TG6511B on their website for $34.95. No doubt there are other manufacturers that also have phones with the Call Block feature.

Keeps calling, leaves no messages

OMG! These people call my phone three times a day. Even at 8:30 pm. My husband answered the call tonight and was asking for him. Saying that they would consoladate his mortgage and loan him money to pay his bills. First off he/we do not have a mortgage. Secondly, they knew our address. He knows better to give personal information out. What do we do? The guy said that my husband asked about loan mod. an he didn't. So we asked him to send us information. So we will see what happens..

Do not respond to the calls.

I don't know who they are or what they call for because I never answer ? But I don't why why they call me and from reading these posts I'm starting to think it is a telemarketing company. Is there anything I can do so they stop calling ?

Calls and identifies themselves as the "mortgage savings centre".   Keeps calling back when told not interested.    Never leaves voicemail.

Definately not a collections call as some folks have erroneously assumed.   I no business with these monkeys (or GMAC).

The same thing just happened to me.  They call.  Do not leave a message.  When I call back, I get a busy signal.  But if I wait past the busy signal, it does ring and a female recoreded voice comes on to give a code of some kind.  What is this all about?  Does anyone know?

You're missing the point here, Michelle.  This isn't the number they call from to remind you that your payment is overdue.  This is a number for their sales department.  It is a misuse of the confidential information they obtained when they purchased our mortgages from GMAC.  I don't know about you, but my arraignment with GMAC specified that I was not to be called for sales purposes and I expect Nationstar to abide by that agreement.
