Received a call.

The call that I received from (269)768-2340 shows on caller ID as RUWAND LT, whatever that means.  This may be one of those telemarketers that changes the way their number shows on caller ID every so often.

Call came into my cell phone unsolicited, more than once.

I keep getting calls from this number - they are soliciting for DISH network.  Everytime they call, I ask the rep to remove me from their calling list - which they are REQUIRED to do by law.  They transfer me to the automated system which asks you to enter you phone number and it will be removed from their dialer.  I have done this several times over the last 3 weeks (I have only had my PHONE NUMBER THIS LONG, and they have been calling since the FIRST DAY I GOT THE NUMBER).  They still haven't removed my number from their dialer.  I have tried to search for their number, and all I can find out is that this is a number in Grand Rapids area of Michigan.  When the number is redialed back, you automatically get the automated system to remove your phone number.  If I actually answer the phone and ask for a supervisor, the agent ALWAYS hangs up.  If I ask for the name and address of the company, they hang up, even though by LAW they MUST provide the name of a company contact and a mailing address so that you can write and insist they stop calling.  These people are relentless...  I am not allowed, by reason of my building lease, to even have dish service - if you try to tell them this, they keep on with their script, insisting that if I "act now" I can get "this for free", etc.  They don't even listen!  NO ONE IN MY COMPLEX IS ALLOWED TO HAVE THIS INSTALLED!  GET A CLUE and STOP CALLING!  By the way - my phone number is unlisted, AND on the DO NOT CALL LIST!  If I find the son-of-a-bi*** who SOLD my number to them...  IT WON'T BE PRETTY!
