I believe these cell phone companies sell our numbers and information. Otherwise, how are telemarketers able to call the same day of a new number? Wonder if we can request or threaten them not to sell/share our information. And if it would do any good. Think it is worth a try.

Just got a call from this number for the first time, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Googled the number as it was ringing and got this site.

I got a call from this # yesterday and the ID said Service Call.  They did leave a msg about GE security at absolutely no cost to me.  I just deleted the msg.  There is nothing in this world that is free!

I get these calls  daily and I go ahead and get to the person.  Then I lead them on for as long
as I can then I tell them if they wouldn't call me I wouldn't waste their time.  Then I cuzz them out
and tell them only a dumb a  s would work in this kind of place.  The more of their time you take up
the better.  I am on the do not call list, and I think that is where they get the numbers.

never press anything to have your number removed from a telemarketers list. when you press 1 or whatever they say, it tells them that your number is a live and active number. try this instead, when you answer your phone DONT SAY A WORD, just hold down the # key, it sounds just like a fax machine they reached. it only works on home phones, not cell phones.

We have also received several calls from the company offering to install a security system if we put a sign in our yard.  Today it was from 269-804-3366, previously we have had the same robocall from at least this and 360-529-6956.  While we have hit the number before to be on their DNC list, it is ineffective, so today I hit the prompts until getting through to a person ? ?Mary? who said she was with Security Technologies.  When I explained I wanted to know the name of the company and phone number, she hung up.  I did ask to be placed on their DNC list.

I knew a guy who tried something like this and the joke ended up being on HIM because they gave his number to everyone imaginable and his nuisance calls increased dramatically.  I wouldn't advise messing with these people.  They are unscrupulous and you'll end up being very sorry you messed with them.

So sick of these bas...ds.  I have a sick child and am waiting for important calls.  Jump out of my skin when the phone rings, only to see it's these lowlives again.  Didn't answer the phone and they left no message.  They are despicable people.

call early am then afternoon and bedtime they are relentless. I'am on do not call list but they do nothing!! So aggreviated. What are we suppose to do? Who can we get help from?

I receive the same call from different numbers to my cell phone (which is on the Do Not Call list).  I've noticed they ask if I have an alarm system now. Hmmm... probing to see if my home has security.  I would suggest NOT providing any personal information.  Now, when I get the call, I press one, wait for a live person and blow my air horn into the phone.  I hope they enjoy THAT conversation.

I also just got a phone call from these jerks so now I am changing my phone number.

I called the number back and it said "Press any digit to be added to the do not call list."  Either i'm off the list or i've just signed up for a ton more calls....

We can beat this if we are patient and work together. Pressing the number to be placed on the do not call list does not work. Take the time to wait for a sales rep to come on the line; go through the interview, making an appointment for their representative to come to your home. Then, either confront them about their failure to remove your number, telling them you're going to do this as many times as it takes them to get them to stop, or just don't answer the door at the time they're scheduled to show up. They'll follow up with a call. Tell them you're going to send them on a wild goose every time they call. Alternatively, send them to a non-existent address.
Be polite,but firm. Let them know that others are going to employ your tactics.
Pass the word.

I'm curious to know how many of these calls are being received by registered "Conservatives"....Although I currently have no proof, I have a theory that these calls are tied to some of Obamas liberal support groups like "Acorn", "Media Matters", etc....I'm not saying those to 'specifically' but those are the types of groups I'm referring to.

I say this because there are only about 2 types of these calls that are persistent. There's "Card Services" and there's a "Security Alarm" service of varying nature that call quite frequently. Just like everyone else on here, everyone asks to get removed from the call list,,,,reports them to the FCC,,,,AND NOTHING HAPPENS. Guess who controls the FCC?!?!.....And based on the VOLUME of these that are taking place I know the FCC has ample evidence and enough call tracing power to make something happen...Yet it doesn't.

So from my perspective,,,,this is an "ATTACK" on a certain group of people BY A GROUP who has immunity to the legal or investigative process administrated by the FCC. These calls are the ONLY calls I get from 'telemarketing' because the smaller companies that have been prosecuted earlier made it known not to call someone on the "DO NOT CALL LIST".............Someone has been granted immunity.

P.S.: They called again today from this number....I've started pressing "1" to speak to an agent to act as if I'm interested....When I get someone on the line I act interested and take up as much of their time as I can then abruptly end the conversation with a derogatory comment regarding some notable characteristic of the service rep.....Might as well burn up their time!!!

Iv had enough . Im at the end of my rope with this mess.

Receiving frequent calls - all recorded messages. Have not spoken to a real person. Have registered complaint with DNR. Would like to know why this can't be stopped.

Another call from Service Dept. no message left.  Am on the DNC list.  What a joke!

Isnt it illegal ???  What is DNC list ????
