WE get  calls from this number all hours of day and night.  It comes up on caller ID  as unknown, so we don't bother answering it.   However, we looked up the number and we live in another state!    Its so annoying,  does anyone know who this can be and why they continue to harass people??     The number that calls is :    269-973-4000

If they refuse, let them know you will be seeking legal counsel who will get it for you and will be filing a lawsuit for harassment.

These idiots call  all hours of the day and night.  Even my work place,  how do they possibly get work numbers, home numbers, and cell numbers???     Its disgusting and harassment as far as I am concerned.   How do we get these calls to stop when the do not call list is a joke!!

Why on earth are we getting annoying calls from Michigan when we live in PA ???    I work for a law firm, and attorneys here are investigating these calls   Its ridiculous,  if we did answer  no one on the other end talks.  And when you don't answer,  no messages are left on the machines.   They even have called our work place.  

This number has called our home phone and cell phones all hours of the day and night.  We don't answer as it comes up on the caller ID  as unknown.  Never leaves a message,  very annoying!   I read some of the comments below and some have said its National City Bank.  We don't even have any National City Banks  in our area!    Do not call list,  is worthless!!   I have looked into legal advice as this is starting to become a harassment.

I also keep receiving calls from this number, but only on my cell....which is a Tracfone (and I changed numbers when I recently moved from another state!)   National City Banks are now PNC banks.  Although I DO have banking with PNC, the calls never leave messages or talk when I answer.  I have no financial reason for them to call....getting frustrated. I think it's just a fishing expedition.... Will try to block again.

Got a call from this number,  it came up on my phone as Kalamazoo Michigan.  From what I read in the other comments,  people are saying its National City Bank..  However all the National City Banks, have now become PNC banks.   They left no messages,  so I did not call them back.  We have no affiliate with National City.  If it was so  important,  they would have left a legitimate message to call them back.  We are so tired of these idiots calling all hours of day and night.  Looking into legal advice.  

Have gotten a few calls from this number over the past few weeks or so. No idea who it is, and don't care--if they don't leave a message, it can't be THAT important, IMHO. I've learned to just ignore these kinds of calls; judging from what others have said in their messages (below) about these pests, I'd say my approach is sound.

I just received a call from 269-973-4000.  I did not answer the call but, did call the number back.  It states "You have reached PNCs Kalamazoo Operations Center.  It sounds legitimate BUT IT IS NOT!!  It is a Sunday (11/17/2013) at 7:22 pm.  I don't know of a bank anywhere in the US that would be calling on a Sunday evening for any reason....simply because they are not open!  Also, I have never done business with PNC Banking (or previous National City Bank).  Be careful, if you do have business with PNC/National City Bank call them doing business hours on a number that you have used to contact them with before or find their number in the Yellow pages (you won't find the one listed above.  They try these "emergency" calls on weekends hoping to frighten people into giving out personal information.

Received call from number and my phone ID said it was PNC. When I called back, they said the number had been changed.

Got call, didn't recognize number so I didn't answer.  Left no message.  Reasearched number and it's from PNC bank collections.

That's wrong. I get these calls with a different bank number. Ignore this number.

I am reporting this number to federal do not call list.  they continue to call after telling them to remove my name.

Getting calls everyday!!! from(269)973-4000 //  (866)622-2657 P N C is this any way to run a business!?? No message, I call back get voice promps! tried one of the extensions listed here, They tell me they dont know why they called, asking for my social sec number! i requested for these idiots to just remove my number and was told they cant because they dont know who i am! wtf!   I have never had any business with these fools!!

We are getting phone calls from  269-973-4000  PNC bank. No acct. with them nor would I want one. Starts at 8:01a am  stops at 8:59 p.m.  Harrqassment. Filed charges with officials! Disgusted.

I get 5-6 robo-calls from this number every day, 7 days a week.  All for a $300 credit card balance.  I know it doesn't seem like much, and I have been trying to pay it (down from $2500), but they still won't stop calling.  At this point, the balance is all late fees and interest.  It's not like I ran up some card and walked.

Got a call from PNC, she left a message stating she was from Probate re: my mother, and left a call back extension. My mother did pass away-buried her day after Christmas. Called back and her first question was about the will, executor etc.  Sooo, obviously a debt collector. Well I had nothing to say, I don't know anything about her financial arrangements.

Received a call today 01/22/13, from the above number, caller ID showed PNC Bank.  No clue as to why they are calling me, no accounts past or present, with that institution.

I got a call this morning from this # caller ID said it was PCN. I didn't answer when I heard them ask for my deceased wife.

I got a call from this number Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m.  Caller ID said PNC Bank.  I answered it.

It was a legitimate call.  I do not have any banking relationship with PNC bank, but they were trying to locate my former daughter-in-law who was divorced from my son three years ago.  They were trying to locate her due to some money she owed PNC.  I told them that my son's ex-wife is using a made up alias, and what her real name actually was.  Hope they find her.  She's an awful person an a fraud from stem to stern.
