Called and left no message.

I believe they aren't permitted to call you at work, and they do need to get their act together.  This is what happened to me:  I have a loan with them and I selected the option of payment being deducted automatically.  They FORGOT to do it one month and then the fun started.  They would put a hold on half the balance in my checking, and no one would give me a good reason why.  This hold would cause NSF fees, but when I would call about them, they would reverse them.  Finally got to talk to someone who told when that when a customer was "late" with a payment, they were legally entitled to freeze any money on deposit until payment was made.  IT'S THEIR DAMN FAULT I WAS LATE AND I HAVE TO PAY??  I asked at several other banks if this was true and they said that they don't do business that way.  My solution to this?  I opened a checking account at another bank and am in the process of getting my direct deposit changed to it.  I've come up with a repayment plan that works FOR ME without me risking getting my phone or utilities turned off (my car insurance was almost cancelled and my cell almost got turned off).  As long as I am attempting to repay the debt, they can't do much more than harass me on the phone.  I live in a state that only allows garnishment of wages for student loans, child support, and back taxes.  They might be calling from Michigan, but they have to abide by the laws of the state I live in.

They called today .... it was PNC checking on a missed payment. They were very polite and helpful.

I get calls frm this# 269-973-4655 no message they just hang up very annoying.

PNC is the worse bank in the country. They buy out a lot of different banks and then they change the rules on loans and credit cards to the point that they can foreclose and cancel accounts to reap in the profits. I don't feel one bit of remorse for doing a chapter 7 and screwing them like they screwed me. They can eat my debt!

It is not PNC It is some company trying to obtain your credit information. The phone number generates out of Battle Creek, MI. but looks to be re-routed. NEVER give them your information.
Use common sense, does a bank ever call you at 8 or 9pm...?  It is so crazy that people prey on gullible people, The big flaw of our "electronic world" is that our information is too attainable.

This is NOT a PNC number.  I don't know why someone on this complaint would think that it is.  Look up the area code in your phone book - It is some foreign country - therefore a scam.  Do not give out ANY information to the caller if you talk with someone.  I wouldn't even answer for this area code.

This is not PNC.  After they asked for my SSN, I called 1-800-PNC-BANK who confirmed that is not a PNC number.  I then called this number back and they stated they are from PNC corporate, and have info the people at 1-800-pnc-bank cant give me (even though they said there are no problems with any of my accounts)

I receive calls from this number on a daily basis, ususally 5-7 times a day. It's really harrassment in the fact they sometimes will call every hout on the hour!! I understand PNC is running a business, but come on, this S#!% is for the birds.

It's PNC Bank telling you you missed a payment on your credit card.

I get 6-7 per day from this number on my cell phone even though I installed the block app. I am also on the national DO Not Call List. I owe absolutely nothing to anyone. The message starts out "This is your captain speaking..."

PNC Bank - They bug the hell out of you but are actually half way decent on the phone comparably.

WE get numerous calls from this number,  day and night,  on weekends, early in the morning.  Its annoying as no one is on the other end and they do not leave any messages. It comes up on the caller ID as PNC Bank,, however I called our local bank and they are not calling from PNC.  We are looking into reporting these calls to FCC.

It definitely is PNC calling. You can call the number back. Anytime your payment is late or if a electronic transfer did not go through, they will call you. Sometimes up to 7 times that day. If you have doubts, call them from the number you have on file with them and they will let you know why they are trying to get a hold of you.

All you need to do is tell them to not call you again and remove your number from their sales call list. As long as your account is up to date and not in areage, you can report them to your attorney general. Enough reports and they will be fined.
You should be able to find a form online to report these calls.

I'm getting ready to check my account out and do the same. I know that I made the monthly payment and keep getting these hang up calls myself. My spine has been fractured and it's very painful to grab the phone, then there's no one there!

WHen I call the first thing they want is my 16 digit account number.  I do not believe this is PNC calling.  I talked with the phone company the other day and they said people can actually "hijack" names and numbers and they are not from the actual institution.

They never leave me a message either, and it is because it is a scam. Also, you cannot call the number back, so that doesn't make sense either! I told them that the next time they call I will have the police investigate them and find out what is really going on.... Haven't heard back since :)

I also pay my bills on time every month, so this is definitely a scam!! If PNC had a problem with anything related to bills then they would contact you by mail or e-mail. Don't be a fool and give away your information!!!

Keep getting calls from this #, but no messages are left.

i get approximately 20 calls a day from this number...never leave a message..just keep calling and calling over and over

Don't give them any ideas...pretty soon they'll have a 'bank' of numbers and shuffle them randomly to bypass call blocking feature on smart phones.

Got a call from this number today. No answer + no message = blocked call. Too easy

I RECEIVE 15 TO 20 CALL A DAY, AS WELL AS THE SAME AMOUNT ON MY HUSBANDS COMPANY PHONE....THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.....THEY JUST KEEP CALLING AND CALLING......THE FIRST LADY I TALKED TO WAS NICE.....THE LADY TODAY WAS EXTREMELY RUDE......I TOLD THEM TO NOT CALL MY HUSBANDS COMPANY PHONE AGAIN AND THEY STILL DO........THEY CALL LATE AT NIGHT AND SUNDAYS TOO....THEY ARE RELENTLESS..............

getting calls three/four times a day. Clearly NOT PNC. How to report? Who to report to? This has got to stop!! SOOO annoying

This is some bogus scam. This number called my cell today and didn't leave a message. If it were a legit PNC call, they wouldn't be calling my cell phone, since I have no PNC accounts, and I give my cell # only to family and a few friends.
