Those of you on the DMC list... marketing research calls are exempt from the laws governing telemarketing. Marketing research calls are not selling anything. With this particular group I received several calls and finally spoke with the rep who politely explained that all the calls with this company are generated by a computer automated dialer. The rep doesn't even see your number until the end so if you want off the list politely tell the rep you wish to be taken off the list and then verify or tell them your number. They write it down give it to a manager at the end of the shift who then takes it out of the main frame. If you don't tell them your number they mark it refuse or hang up and it goes back into the system for another call so TELL THEM THE NUMBER THEY DO MARK IT AS A REFUSE BUT THE COMPUTER CONTINUES TO DIAL IT UNTIL THE NUMBER IS TAKEN OUT

Bi*** then get another f****ng job and life, you are nothing but jack***es, STOP BOTHERING PEOPLE!

Yea, I've gotten calls from these surveyors, too. I start by asking "What's in this for me?", and if the answer isn't immediate, I hang up. Time to write our congressmen and senators to stop surveys and political calls too!  Last election cycle I was getting annoyed by 2-3 political calls a day! They've also called from the number 270-643-0222

Received two calls two different nights at about the same time.  Went to voice mail and they didn't leave a MSG.  We are on the DNC list and will report the next time.

These guys called the duty hut and asked for the person most responsible for the telecommunications needs for our company. He didn't care that I was a Sgt in a room full of officers.

Having nothing better to do, I took the survey, giving mostly BS answers. It will be interesting to see if the old boy calls again.

I went to their website and entered their address into Goggle Earth. I went to street level and looked at their building.  I waved, but nobody waved back.

Sure, they can legally call even if you're on the DNC list.  Then again, you can tell them you'll take their survey -- if they agree to pay you $50/minute.  

What?  They don't want to pay you for your time?  They want this survey for FREE?  If it's so important then they can PAY for the information.  If they can't pay, it can't be very important.

Hey, MY time is valuable TOO.  Pay my price or get off the phone.

Here's a hint that I find helps: I "on"  and "off" my phone lickety-split when I see this garbage on caller ID. Do not speak at all, this signals the computer the line is alive. If voice mail picks up it signals the line is alive. Sometimes you can't help that. I'm down to the odd call once a week. At one point I was getting 10+ a day.

Got a call from this number 270-450-1600. Southern accented gentleman said it was not a sales call, and just had a few questions. He asked to speak with the male head of the household 18+, asked if i had internet service and then asked if it was dial-up or broadband.
That was all, call lasted less than a minute.

I don't answer so no comment about who they are.

Beware of these people for they call from other numbers as well 2709851422.  They have nothing to do with horses.

it comes up thourobreads on the ID , they are scam artists, they call on all diff numbers and u need to report them and block ALL their numbers!

Caller ID says Thoroughbred Re.  They leave no message.

I have also been receiving phone calls from these numbers....I didn't pick up the first two times, but the third I did and they were just people on the other end laughing and talking...they didn't even respond!

It is very annoying for these people, or surveys?? to be calling...I don't know they are but wish they would just stop calling
