receiver called police to advise that this number had called her asking for the owner of the company. Owner wasn't in the office and caller became abusive regarding service that had been performed by the company. Oddly enough the performance that caller was complaining about isn't performed by this particular business. Language was threatening and abusive. Threatened to burn down their business. Receiver hung up. Caller returned the call and was abusive once again. They hung up and have not heard from him since.

Man called asking for my boss, i had the phone forwarded to my cell while I was out of the office, I couldn't understand the name he was asking for, when I told him it was hard to understand him, he said I should clean the --- out of my ears and then started saying abusive, disgusting things, I hung up, called the # back and got a recording that the # is disconnected.

Got a call from a man asking for my boss, when I told him he wasn't in, he wanted his cell phone number.  Told him I couldn't give that out, and he yelled for me to give it to him, then yelled some words I couldn't make out and he hung up.
Number says it is out of service.  Big Moron!

What/where are 700 numbers?  I have never heard of 700 numbers.

We are a small construction company.  Got a call this AM (3/10/08) from an arrogant a**hole asking for me by name.  He told me one of my current customers recommended me for a job.  I asked who recommended me.  
He gave me a fictitious reference on a company the caller said I had done work for.  I know for sure we have NEVER done any work for this company.  We are 32 years in the construction business, and I know each and every customer, so I knew he was lying from the start.  Like many of you, I did a reverse look-up on the phone number, and found it not in service.  Interestingly, my receptionist recalled this guy's voice, since he had apparently called many times for me previously.  She did the *69 thing to try and get a number, and the number came up as being from the Pacific Northwest.  I think I now have tracked him to a specific call center.  Like one of you said above, I'd like to find him and let him know how much I appreciate him doing this to me.

This a***ole called and asked for my husband by his first name today. I live in a rather warm climate area (name w/h) and this a***ole says (according to my called ID) that this number belongs to a P Whitaker and the call was from Paducah, KY. I looked up P Whitaker in the court records and all of that. I also called the Paducah Police Dept. and said this man harrassed me, however, all they said I could do was call my local police since I live out of state. When I told the man that I was married to my husband and asked if I could help him he stated no thanks and he was happy for me. I then repeated my question and he was really rude. I told him since you are being such an a***ole don't call here anymore and he said I don't think I will, then he turned around and called me again. I said hello a few times then he hung up on me. I called the number back like most of you have done and it says the number is out of service. This could be one of those scam numbers where they make money off of people who call their telephone number. Anyhow, I hope this information helps anyone who lives in Paducah, KY. I wish I did because I'd drive their and kick some a**.

he said his name was larry miller with mirror construction, asked for my boss by name, asked for his cell, told him i would have to take a message and he gave me a local number for my boss to call him back at. i googled that number too and it belongs to a HOA. i asked what this was regarding and he said i gotta go and hung up. why does there have to be so many losers out there wasting peoples time

If you get a call from this number( Max with Powers Construction for Scott with Wilson Builders) tell him the person they are asking for has been FIRED and is no longer with the company and no one has been hired to take his place.  NUISANCE CALLS, NUISANCE CALL, BEWARE BEWARE.......

Called today asking to speak to the owner of the company, said his name was MAX with POWERS Construction.  Told me my boss and him had been talking about a couple of items on an ongoing job.....All LIES!!!! Beware!! Beware!!

this guy bugged us since 06. claimed he's bob taylor from contractor's warehouse. so we track his telephone number take a look at 700-000-0650. this telephone stopped about april of 2007. it seems he was a lot more mellow than. just hang up's and a lot of calling. before that is was
telephone number from az. this called was using a company called cricket.com I have called police and they looking at all the telephone numbers. bob get help you're not mellow anymore.

I think hes getting it from from the county public records you live in.I file my trade name with the county that was it other than the irs for taxes.Im not listed anywhere either.I know i get calls all the time .Hes just up to no good.Every company is kind and understands is you say your not interested and to take your  number off their list

I can't figure out how he got our number. We're a very, very small company. We get all of our work from word-of-mouth. We don't advertise anywhere except on the side of our vehicles. We are not listed in the Blue Book. You can't find us online at all. We have insurance for the business, a contractor's license, and a Menard's account - and that's about all.

I tried calling the number and I got a recording that the phone number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Because of this, he is probably using something like www.spoofcard.com. He may not be anywhere near KY at all. Please report to your local police dept like I did. We might be all over the country -- or we might all be in the same town. I have some reason to believe that some of us are in the same geographical area but I don't want to say why I think this because I don't want to identify myself to him if he is reading this.

I just found out that it is coming from KY.I have some other info to.I going to give it to my offical friends to see if they can work with the local officials.Its pretty far from my location.Thought everyone would like to know at least what state i was able to find out.Im determined to find the resources to get this guy before someone does get hurt..

It's weird .i google the number to try to find atleast a state the number is coming from and i find all you inocent people getting harrassed by the same guy.he says hes from a whole sale supply company.Then after you tell him to stop calling he threatens your life.So,i even told him i have alot of law enforcement friends,municipal/goverment.So he keeps calling me back daily.he likes to threaten your life,insult you,and gets off on harrasing people.I have a plan to try to get a fix on the location area he is in.So the best thing to do is just let the phone ring.Dont send it to voicemail,or anwser and hang up.That only lets him know that he is getting to you.If you get any info,post it here.Together all the info we can gather will help the officals get this j*** off.If this guy reads this by some chance.Were coming tough guy,lets see how tough and smart you really are........

We all seem to be in similar businesses: contractor, landscaper, etc.  I wonder if we are also all located in the same area of the country. I don't want to state here where I am located because I am afraid that I might then identify myself to the caller if he is reading this message board. I am going to call my local police department to report this. I think we all should call our local police departments because it might be a local guy that they can track down.

Frequent calls from with no message left. One time I answered he asked for my Ex who is a building contractor. I gave him his number. Have since continued to get calls with hang up if I answer. I won't answer again.

We're getting calls too. What can be done about this?

I got a call from this number this afternoon. First time I was unable to pick up and they left no message. 2 hours later he called back. He was very friendly, knew my name and my business (landscaping). He said he's called many times and never gets an answer and I said I'm usually near my phone and I've never gotten a message from him. He said he was a wholesale supply house in Arizona. He asaked me about the weather and told me how nice it was in AZ. Asked me how I've been spending my time during this off season. He seemed very pleasant. Kept trying to get me to order stuff, making it seem like everything was great price. But I didn't need any of the stuff he mentioned. After the 3rd refusal, he said "I gotta go" and hung up. Overall, I thought it to be a strange call. Strange enough to google the number when I got home and that's when I found this site. I guess he was hoping to make a sale in order to get a credit card number. Will be on the look out for him again.

Received call from this number today. The story is similar as the other stories. Caller spoke with my office manager and swearing at her stating she was full of sh#*, over and over.  Then he called back and I received the phone call and he did the same thing to me.  I wish there was something that could be done.

Called and asked for the owner, said he had some lights out to be repaired.  Now he's calling the cell all the time, using profanity and generally RUDE.

Received call from this number a few days ago. The story is similar as the other stories. Caller threatened to burn the house down cause he "Knows where you live". He was unsatisfied with the work our company did. Our company does not do the work that he mentioned.

Get a call from this number EVERYDAY at least 3 times a day here at work... I finally answered it once and they asked "May I please speak with **an" I think he only knew my bosses name cause DUH his name is the name of the company with construction after it moron. Anyways I said he was not available would he like to leave a message and he said no he'd call back. We get weird calls from Florida California Tennessee you name it we get it.. and whats effing hilarious is that we're on the national DO NOT CALL LIST... if a new number calls that i dont know i answer it and say "ARE YOU A TELEMARKETER OR TRYING TO SELL US SOMETHING CAUSE THATS A TELEMARKETER DO NOT CALL HERE WE ARE ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST" and hang up.. but some of them GAH keep calling so annoying

This man called and asked for my boss by name.  I told him that my boss was unavailable.  He said in the most evil voice..."put him on the phone right now".  I hung up on him.
