Called...no message. When I called back, 5 minutes later, I got a message saying the number was disconnected. Wierd.

Call 407-856-0115 (travelandtours.com) ask them to remove you from the list. They ADMITTED calling and they are also operating under other numbers like 512-500-9898, 502-378-9898. The Spanish recording says to press 1 to claim a prize and then you are connected to the agency. If you were to ask them to remove you from the list they would just hang up on you b/c they know you can't call back (they did it to me). But now you have a name and number.  They use a company name "travel and Tours Marketing" and "Super Promociones USA".Owner's name is Luis Arce (so they say).

AWESOME! Thank you. I called. Hit "1" then "2" for customer service and they took my number and told me they are not soliciting now. I said "remove me regardless". I also said good luck with the lawsuit.

The automated system they use isn't very good. When I answered my CELL phone I caught the last couple of words of the message which stated "Press 1 now". So I did and played dumb knowing they were going to attempt to scam me. I let her go through her sales pitch about how I won $2600 travel dollars but I needed to provide them my credit card to pay some fee. When she finished I told her that you couldn't pay me to go to Mexico with all the crime and killing down there. NOt to mention their police force (if you want to call it that) is as corrupt and useless as the clowns on that show Reno 911.  Anyhow, don't answer the phone.

picked up and it said congratulation's fido customer, please press 1 to claim the prize as well. i hung up i knew it was a scam. my iphone identified it as somewhere in KY, USA so i guess it doesn't help us since the DNC only applies to Canada. =(

They also called me 5:17 pm (PST) i missed it and they left a silent message on my voice mail it has also happened a few times from an area code in New Hamshire (603-m I forget the rest of the number) seeing this is has happened to many people assures me its just some kind of scam thanks for the posts.

I just got a call from 12709829991. I didi not answer it because I didn't know the number. They didn't leave a message or anything... How the F did they get my cell number??? I'm kinda freaked out!

Same thing happened to me!!! I let the call go to v/m 2 seconds of silence then disconnected!! I didnt waist the long distance charges calling back to find out who it was

I've received calls from this number a few times this month but haven't picked up due to either not hearing my phone or not having my phone with me. No voice mail was left, and after reading these reports, it seems as though it's just another scam so I will not pick up if they o call again.

recieved a call from 1 270 982 9991 but didnt answer as i didnt recognize the number. they left no voice mail. when i called the number back i got a recorded message stating that this number is not in service?!?!?

Same here, except mine was a recording telling me to claim my Cancun trip.

They just called and did the Rogers vacation thing and asked me to press one! I hung up after two mins though because I didn't want to pay for minutes

Prompt came on right away saying "Congratulations, you are a preferred Rogers customer. Press 1 to claim your prize now" I pressed 1 just for fun even though I knew it was all a joke. Waited on hold for ten minutes with hold music then gave up. Probably just another scam no doubt

Just got this call at 1:30ish.

Got a call from this number saying I was a preferred Rogers customer, to claim my prize, press 1.

Spoke to one person who said I won a trip, he asked if I was over 23 and if I had a credit card...named them all off. Then he transferred me to another girl who wanted to explain how it all worked...I asked "did the guy say this was from Rogers?" and she said yes...and then went into details about how that would be possible, although I barely understood two words! (British sort of accent, talking really fast, difficult to understand). Then she said she would explain the deal...sounded like there was a party going on in the background. Someone yelled 349, there was laughing, clapping and cheering...and then they hung up...

Weird stuff...i'm fighting a cold and too drowsy to think fast! I hope it wasn't anything too serious...upset that they have my number now though! :(

Just got a call from this number. I have a Rogers pay-as-you-go phone here in ON Canada.  Am on DNC list in Canada but don't think that stops foreign scammers. I have no voicemail and missed the call so I don't have any more details wad 2100 ED time.

Both me and my girlfriend received calls on our cells from this number within 2 hours. We're in Canada, both with different cell service providers...weird stuff

Some LoLife called my mobile. Don't know anyone in the 270 area code so call was refused.

I keep getting these kinds of no message calls on my cell and it drives me crazy!!!  I am on the road and usually I don't have the eyes to check the number.  Glad to not have answered this time
