I received this phone call at home, in the evening. A gentleman with a thick accent asked for me, and then went on to talk about my application for a loan online and how it was accepted. He wanted my mailing address. I DID NOT APPLY for this loan, and I am now requesting information from the credit companies to see if someone has been applying for loans in my name.
Very unnerving - and I asked him if there was a date on the application, or how he received my phone number. He didn't say much after that.
