They have 100 different numbers they call from. Same scam. Some indian guy will say he is an officer( of what he didn't say) and to hire an attorney because your charged with crimminal activity, and they will cancel your ssi number. Total BS. The numbers range form 9 didgit numbers to all 0's and even 911. Goverment won't stop it. Don't have the time or money to. I've heard they get your number if you apply for a pay day loan.

Got a call from this number from someone who didn't speak english very well stating they were an attorney and I should call them back immediately, before they take action on my social security number.  Then she added that she has all my information.

This is like the 3rd time it has called- this time I answer- whoever it was hung up if it was anyone at all...I tried calling the number back to be told it was not a working number....hmmmm...conspiracy?
