I got the EXACT same email from Robbie Anderson. It felt weird because there was not enough information and they weren't asking many questions for me either. Then I got a check in the mail for almost 2,000 dollars, which seemed very off, since I never actually confirmed any plans.

Glad I checked on here!

I just received the same exact email!  I too have been scammed before, so I decided to Google the company and found your message was exactly like mine.  I am so glad I checked this company out before falling for another scam!  It is a pure shame that people can't post a legitimate job offer knowing how hard jobs are to find.  I truly pray that someday these people will be removed from the internet and no one ever fall s for these scams!

I've been scammed by the same exact guy. Now, however, he is going under the name of Kirk Kolenbrander from MIT. After some investigating and searching, found it was a fraud. After reading the emails that others of you have received, I have received the same exact ones- verbatim. Unfortunately, I did give him some personal information: Name, address, phone number. Hopefully, this information will be limited enough for him to not alter any personal identification, etc. Glad I caught this now before it went too far. He used the number: 276-690-7026 and email: info@webmit.org.

Saw craigslist add for min wage factory picker/packer . Sent email and a mr. Robbie Anderson replied with much enthusim with a subject line for a different job . He then proceeded to text me , and actually sent me a check for $1,980.00 telling me to tell him when I deposit it . Within first contact "he " was well aware I'm 17. Who would send a check to me for that much without so much as an interview?! . Which he mentioned would be held in a few weeks . And told me it was my salary pulse funds to rent warehouse space. Saying I was to meet up with one of his assosiote. And blah blah bullsheit . This is a total scam. Sad. Desperate . Manipulative . Cruel. Organized  . Load of sheit. This is yet another reason so many of us all lose hope in humanity . So I'll stick to my grimy job washing dishes and I'll just hold onto this check I refer to as my "Monopoly money" . Never gunna cash it or deposite or nothin' just gunna prank my friends . Maybe rip off a drug dealer who knows , but please if you're in a situation like this treat it with humor like myself and laugh at these scumbag scammers that take advantage of the working class. I'm glad i didn't fall for it , and I hope that if you're reading this you won't either . But I am remorseful for all those who were swept up in the trap . It's nothing people . It's a scam truthfully. A F'CKING JOKE. Don't waste your time

This guy Robbie Anderson sounded sincere and came across as very successful in his emails. Initially, when I looked up his company on the Internet, a page came up for a company based in Australia, but, interestingly enough, no personnel names could be accessed, Later, when I wanted to look up the company again, that webpage was totally gone. As time went on and his promises became more empty it started shouting SCAM! to me.My friend suggested that I forward his information to the FBI, but since "he" uses so many names and aliases,THEY would probably have trouble tracking him down. What kind of weirdo gets off on raising unemployed peoples' hopes and then dashing them again? "He" or "she" needs help of the psychological kind, or best of all - to find Christ and start living for Him.
