i have a legal matter pending.....they get so mad when you ask them questions.  

They left a voice mail..  and the guy who called had a very heavy Indian accent.. could barely understand the message and was threatening to turn my file over to the authorities if I didn't call them back.. as they have tried and tried to to be reasonable and contact me??  Ridiculous.

Got a voice mail from some guy couldn't really understand too well very thick Indian accent, saying something about my SS# and being involved in a federal investigation..    urgent that I respond back so no further legal action will be taken.   Of  course I have no intention of calling back.  They called 4 times in a row before leaving a voice mail

I have been receiving several calls a day from this number 281-306-0261. I'm not sure but I really can't understand the language. I think he said his name was John Smith, calling from Houston Law Firm and my social security number is under investigation. Said to please call be or 'm going to be sorry if I don't. I don't entain messages like that. He was very rude. If he is from a Law Firm, I know that they will not speak to you on a harrassing tone. I also received a call from Michelle the same number. I am so sick of these foreign people calling and leaving me threatening and harrassing messages. I don't bother anyone for them to bother me. I have filled out several loan apps but I did not go through with the process. Lord please stop the harrassing and threatening phone calls.

Got 7 harassing phone calls from Alex Williams from Houston Law today and very nasty voicemails!!! I am way too sick to be putting up with this crap! I told him he was a fraud and he told me that my county cops were going to come to my house and arrest me unless I paid him over the phone with a credit card. I hung up!! He called back but I don't answer! My loan company said its a scam!!

Mark, I just received a call from this joker threatening me.  I'm considering call the law in splendor, tx and reporting them.  Will it do any good? What info do you have that I can fight them back with?  it's funny I never got these calls until I applied for an online loan and a company I thought was reputatable.

I just received a call from this company today, and I have never gotten a loan from them. They had my home telephone number, and also my email address?!? I do not know how they got it, but as I said I never got a loan from them, and funny thing is I work for a group of attorneys, needless to say my bosses are looking into this company!

This number keeps calling me and saying that I owe a cash advance place 574.00 and that they are during me for 2000.00. The guy is a foreign guy and he called himself calevin brown. Who can I report this too?

This man calls and says he is with a law firm and he is trying to collect money.. He said his name is Nick Jordan

This caller said they were calling from Houston Law Firm and they were investigating my social security number.  They wouldnt send me anything in writing and hang up on me if I asked to many questions.  It sounded like they were calling from india!

omg!! this number just called me 6xs in a row and of course i will NOT answer the call. I know its a scam and as I am writing this the number is calling me AGAIN!!! this is unbelievable and needs to stop.

Got a call from this number saying he was a Houston Law form and SS# under investigation, I need this to stop

On my first 2 reports I did not tell  you that they called back. His name was Kevin Brown and from Huston Law Firm.  He said that since we never returned his call that it has been turned over to the legal investigation dept. soon. and my husband will be served with a supenioa  from the sheriff's dept. and will have to go to court.  He never said it what state. He was from Texas and we live in Michigan. This call was on 9-30-2013, well it has been almost 1 month now and heard nothing yet. Today 10-24-2013 I thought to call this number back and they answer there phone. I ask if they where Huston Law Firm and he said who is this. I said who are you, are you Huston Law Firm. Then another person came on the phone and I ask him the same thing and he said yes. I said that you are Cash net he said yes. I said thank you and hung up. I looked up Cash Net on line and found them. I put our e-mail address in for user name and tried a password. It would not go through so I put I forgot my password. I was e-mailed back from them to put in a new password so I did. Then information came up on my husband. It showed that he requested a loan for $250.00 on 4-27-2007 and was denied it. So I called them about this call we received from them and told him what it shows on line about this loan. He first said that he could not tell me anything I was not my husband. But he did say that they do not turn there loan over to a law firm that they take care of it themselves. He said that it sounds like a big scam and not to give them any information they ask for.anyways what would my husband SS# have to do with a pay day loan have to do with it?? What a scam they are and still are doing it because I was able to call them today. Pease stay away from these people.  Just thought that you should know this.

Some do***e bag named Calvin Brown said he was from Houston Law Firm.  Definitely fraud.  I hope someone goes after him.

I keep getting the same calls as all of the others. Houston law firm and so on. I have received them from several different numbers, all of them using some of the same names as people have listed here.  I even had one call saying the we the CA  State Attorneys office. As we know, it is a scam, but does anyone know if there is anything that can be done about  it?  The calls are getting old. I am tired of someone calling and threatening me.

Not to repeat what already been said but same here.  I got a call from an Indian or Pakistan woman names Michelle Johnson who claims the same thing, my ssn is under investigation and the local Sheriff will be serving me. Then second caller was from an Alex Wilson.  He states I borrowed $300, which is a lie, and now I owe over $2400.00 which includes lawyer fees so I'll be charged with check fraud. Now, my thought was 'these foreigners have the most American names ever'!!!  LOL!!! People will do anything for a scam!

Called 11x when i finally answered the said I had a lawsuit against me from a place i dont even know about so I know they are a scam... I didnt  give them any information thank god.

Keep getting called by this number. "Sam" called saying that since I have not called back, I was to expect the local sheriff's office to come to my place to serve me a summonds to come to court

I received a called from this number, they left me a voice mail saying that my social security number is under investigation..because i have a online loan and owed them $ 426.19  which i need to pay right away.The person who left the voice mail is name is Mike Smith and Attorney was Alex William..They were harassing me and told me i don't get pay i will get arrested by 6pm....Purely Scam

This number just call me talking about they are a law firm out of Huston when i heard that Indian accent I knew it was a scam. so I post there number on a couple of sex chat line forums that should keep his phone busy

I got a call from 2813060261 and they claimed that my attorney needs to call.  Couldn't understand him.

I filed Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and included Cashnetusa.com on my bankruptcy case.  After harassing phone calls about a federal law suit, I turned their phone numbers and names (which are probably fake) to my bankruptcy lawyer.  He said it is a federal offense for them to harass me after they had already been included in a bankruptcy.  They had their chance to dispute the bankruptcy at my "meeting of creditors" when I filed my bankruptcy.  Since they didn't show or send any sort of dispute, they can no longer contact me.  Now my lawyer is pursing them.

I have been getting this exact same phone call for over a week now. And today it has been non-stop. I am also going to be investigated and arrested at my place of employment if I do not return his call. And then he wishes me good luck. If they were Americans and spoke English then I might take them seriously. And Im in the same boat. I know I dont have an online loan either.

Received a call from K. Michelle stating that I was running from a debt and she is from a Houston Law firm.  Called the number back and spoke with Alex who asked for my attorney's number because I owe Cash Advance $619.00.  Yeah right don't have anything to do with Cash Advance.  Had this to happen before and told him my Attorney was the US Attorney and this operation is a fraud.  He politely hung up on me.
