This is not HP.  Lady claimed her name was Cathy Cook and she was looking for a CISO with Sara Lee.  Claimed she got my number from Linked In which is a lie.  My contact information is not in LinkedIn.  She claimed she was trying to setup a conference of CISO's with various companies.  Claimed she had been looking for this info for 3 days.

This number has been calling me several times of day-early in the moening until after 9 pm. They never leave a message.

It's HP tech support if you have an opened ticket, but they cannot receive calls in return.

This is from HP.  I just received a call from this number.  It was an HP employee and not a 3rd-party representing them.

FYI, buy HP.  I love the four laptops and monitors I have bought from them.
1. My laptop runs cool.
2. They have always shipped quickly, on-time, and to the correct address.
3. My support phone calls, including this one were short.
4. They will contact you to try to help you if you have an issue.  That's a pro, not a con, stupid.

This is HP's Corporate HQ. I called them back to make sure. I had opened a ticket with them for my POS laptop I bought. They effed it up so bad they had no where to turn but to call me and try to figure it out.

FYI, NEVER BUY FROM HP.
1. laptops overheat to the point everything inside burns up. I have had this dv7t 17" laptop for 11 months now. It has been in service twice, and this will be the third time.
2. they will NEVER get the shipping right, whether they say they will ship 2nd day and it takes over a week, or they simply send it somewhere you don't work or live.
3. they will blame YOU when you get burned from the extreme hot metal of the case.
4, they will keep you on the phone in the wrong dept for SO LONG that when they finally agree to escalate your case, 'aww, it's too late in the day, they are closed now.'. Even though it was NOT too late when you first called.
5. they will offer you a coupon to their online store as compensation. Unfortunately, there are so many restrictions on the use of the coupon, all you can get with it are computer mice and speakers.
6. don't worry, they will ship these to the wrong address too.

Interesting that this is from HP or spoofed by HP. I have a service ticket open with HP Pro services that I entered today on their service website.

Calls from 281-370-0670 are not from HP!!  As noted - they are being reported.

called my cell phone Nov 21, 2008 @ 3:39pm. I answered, no response, "they" hung up.

They left a voice message. It is HP

Although I am expecting a call from HP, the caller did not identify who they were and asked for a name I did not know.

That Number is for Hp Facility Call Center we take calls for HP companies issues regarding any problems they have in their building like light is out or water leaking any problems like that.

this IS HP's warranty department.  i submitted a warranty case an hour ago, and they are working on it.

The call is some kind of telemarketing thing, and they are NOT HP. They are spoofing the called ID to a legitimate HP number. I notified HP executive offices and they will investigate.

yes, it shows up on caller id w/Hewlett Packard and when dialed it goes to hp service center. not sure why they called me at 500 am EST.
