He said "hey there." I responded, "hi." He then said "Kim? Its jason." I thought it was my friend pranking me, so I said, "Hello jason." He then sent a smiley text and I sent a sad one. Then he asked, "can you send a picture?" Still thinking it was a friend, I took a picture of my lemonade and sent it. Immediately, a friend told me, coincidentally, about an identical scenario that happened to him. Let's stop this freak.

Just received a text that said "hey there". I will not reply thanks to this board!

I got this same message saying "Hey there" I responded "who is this"  He replied "Jason, Kim right?"  I decided to Google the number and found this web page, thus I delete the message and did not reply back to him.

Further, snapshots from pittspressurewash.com from 2009 indicate it is owned by a retired HPD Sargent.

Google searches would indicate it belongs to a G. Pitts who lives in Seabrook a half-dozen blocks from a girl scout camp. Address according to tax records is not in Pitt's name but in a woman's name which may be a girlfriend or a landlord, but the business which now goes by pro-clean pressure washing still has that address.

I've gotten this weird text twice over two years. At first I thought it was legit but to see others are getting it just makes this all seem strange. The only reason I looked this number up is because the person said the EXACT same thing a year ago and it rang a bell.

Something creepy is going on with this mister "Jason" and his long lost "Kim". I should send it/him/her a picture of me holding up the middle finger next time.

I just got a text from this creeper saying "hey there". I'm glad I googled the number before texting back. I wonder if there's a way of reporting this guy? I'd hate for him to get a hold of some unsuspecting kid. Thanks for the info, everyone!!

I just got a text from this number:  "Hi there".  I googled the number and read the above posts, since I have to pay for each text message.  I'm sure it's someone with too much time on their hands.

I got a text from this number just a minute ago. First message said 'hi' I sent 'who is this' and while I was waiting for a reply I found a website saying the this person said his name was Jason and is looking for Kim, and sure enough he wrote 'it's Jason. This is Kim right? ' I replied 'no, you have the wrong number'  and he wrote, 'Ohh ok sorry. I almost sent my pic haha'. This is definitely a creep looking for a chance to send a picture to an unsuspecting person, or worse, child. Do not answer this person.

I received a txt this morning with just a "hi" too, when I asked "who is this?".  The reply was from a "Jason looking for Kim".  I had already checked the # here and saw that several people have posted the same thing.  So I replied "NO, You have the wrong #, so do not txt me again" if he does, I will further investigate to see what can be done about it because this is a bigger problem if he's going this around Texas (i'm in Houston).

OMG...I got a random HI message from this dude today...I said Hi back and "who's this." He replied "Jason. Kim, right?" I said "No....wrong number, sorry" then he kept on and on and is still keeping on. What a freak.

Also received a text message. Simply said "hi," nothing more.

Same thing.  Simple message, "Hi".  I went back and forth with him a few times.  He said his name is Jason and he was looking for Kim.  Thought my ex had given him my number and a fake name for a second.
