Something is wrong. The area code for Austin, TX is 512. Houston is 281. The dummy is spoofing the number. Call the number and you can hear the fake conversations.

I really don't get it. If this is a scam, which apparently it is, and there are plenty more out there...this is 100% CRIMINAL activity that NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE "REAL" FBI, and STOPPED. As soon as possible! Why does this go on for YEARS?? ---- i know (well I should think) government is aware it's going on. Is ANYTHING being done about it?? Since the gov. Seems to think its their job to "provide" every damn thing to everyone (don't get me started) why don't they do something useful and provide some PROTECTION to the vulnerable people out there getting STOLEN FROM and harassed at their jobs when they're trying to make a living. This is just BULL. I know they have the technology and the power to put an end to it if they wanted to. It's a matter of "what's highest on their priorities". Apparently this ain't too high on the totem pole. And yes, I got a call from this number at like 7:20am and about a zillion others from God knows where, for literally years-all KINDS of random cities. How can we ever know who is legit and who isn't? Who can we believe? I absolutely REFUSE to answer any of these calls. We the people just need to #1 be "aware" of any debts we owe (duh-actually avoid debt as much as possible)...and have as much self discipline as we can to pay it off as quickly as possible, otherwise you will NEVER be truly free in your life as long as you owe somebody. Sorry for my preachiness. I just mainly get so mad that this crap continues to go on, even now to the point that they're impersonating the FBI. Seriously? Where will this end???!!!

I tried calling them.. i love harassing rude sick twisted telemarketers.. does anyone have any current numbers? i was crippled in a car accident so I have nothing better to do than f with telemarketers

This person knew my name.  He left a message saying his name was Basinthia from Advent Global Solutions telling me he was calling me about a UPS job opening.  He stated that I am to read the job description he emailed me and then call him back at 281-402-6227.  

SCAM!  I recently posted my resume with Monster, they must have gotten my information there.

I am being relently harassed and at work by some douche-bag named Kim Morgan from the National Crime Investigation Bureau. Accent so thick I can barely understand him. The only "authentic" bureau I'm familiar with is the National Crime Investigation Center (NCIC) and it is totally legit. Is so terrible. I've filed complaint after complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the IC3 FBI consumer complaint site. I can lose my job over this crap, it's really terrifying.

I have received many many call from "Officer Cody".  Also received a lot of calls from other numbers pretending to represent the national crime investigation bureau.  These people are relentless, and need to be stopped.

These people are crazy. They been calling me for 2 weeks my cell # and work # . They said I had court papers coming to serve me. When I contact Madison county court. They had no records of me getting served with papers. These Indian people are crazy.

This guy has called me every several months and is now asking for my employer.  My local police department directed me to this google site so that I might see I wasn't along and that this is a scam.  This guy is relentless and will use all types of language and threats.  I hope he gets what he deserves soon.

That camel lover called my work and said the same thing to me. But he wanted 440 and said this would take care of my debt. His name was Carl Miller.

Calls never leaves message. I don't answer unless I know the number

I have had numerous calls from this number stating I have committed a crime against my company.  I know that they are a scam. I told him to do wha ever pleases him as he has nothing to go on.

I also got a call from these people saying I owe money to my place of work for a loan which isn't true because my job does not do cash advances these people need to stop

i got a call a couple times a day claims his name is eddy from national crime investigations..an will call my employer if i dont call back im so tired of getting these people calling me all the time

These same people called me and I was nervous not only dovu work for the federal govt,U can't get in no type of trouble so I googled the number and after reading everybody post I was like OK IM GOING TO GIVE THEM THE BIZ if he calls back and he did when I say I gave it to him played all the games I could the last call he made was to say ur crazy and f you but I haven't heard from them the rest of the day!!! Now they might try to call back next week But I will do it all again!!

Are these people idiots  that think I would ever respond to a criminal investigation number and then said he will send it to my county clerk - go ahead, we all know its crap. I mean when did I grow long ears and a tail and hee haw.

I also have started getting calls from this number, the guy sounded indian but when they talked to the officer they wouldnt identify themselves. I wish they would quit harrasing me because tey called me 6 times within an hour

Received call at work ..Paul  Jackson..>Called back was told he could be any of the investigators....If this was a real company they would not lie about who was calling you.  I have been told they are scam artists and have nothing to do with any company.......281-402-0226

threatening call from some foreign person claiming to be Gary Jones from Federal Legal Department - claimed I had not repaid a payday loan; would not give me any information ("I am not an information service").  Claimed to be a lawyer and threatened to call my job, etc. - wanted me to send a letter that he dictated (!!!!) for a repayment through bank draft!!!  Very abusive and bullying whenever I asked a question.  Hung up on me when I wanted proof of who he was - big scam!! BEWARE

Call the FBI

For a moment i thought i owed someone, which i know i do have debt like everyone else.  this man by the name of Gary Jones and or Coby with an India accent keeps calling my cell phone and my job.  and that is harrassment.  he said he was going to send the sheriff to my job with a summons.  how do we stop these ppl?

The same thing happento me today, they want me to pay 575.00 tomorrow, should I report that"

This company called me on my cell phone and claimed that I owed a short term loan company money. They had all my personal information including complete SSN number and home address. I could not understand the caller at all due to heavy accent and the loud noise in the background indicating it was call center.

They threaten to have me arrested over this debt. On a debt that I did not take out. They even had my complete account number and routing number from my bank on an account that I had closed due to fraudulent activity.

They started yelling at me cause I would only say "I can't understand you" then the profanity started and I hung up. They then started blowing up my cell phone till I turned it off for a while.

I am going to report them to my local police and to the Internet Crime Complaint.

Indian guy called me gave me talking fast and recited a SSN# that does not belong to me. I wrote it down and I asked him to repeat the number, lol and he changed 1 or 2 numbers in the SSN# he had just given me. I replied neither of those numbers belong to me. He apolgized and said this is a recorded call, we have the person who the number belongs to. What the hell he call me for then!!!!

Scam don't answer the calls I have report them to the police. I still get calls. I answered one day with a loud whistle blow they get so pissed off the curse at you so I keep blowing whistle. Then they call back from a different phone number same person or his brother who knows buy a whistle everyone

Scam They are from India. Call them back and blow a loud whistle in there ear. They hate that I have done the whistle thing they get pissed off. The have multiple  phone numbers the call from same person some times . They need to be arrested and rot and be hung

Just so you all know, they are probably accusing afterwards to make it sound legit, but they are getting info to use for their scam profiles. The info is seems they are asking all of you is the info one gave me when he was trying to convince me he was real.  So never verify anything. It's how they come up with stuff and you find yourself a victim of identity theft later. They take all your info and put a picture with it. Then they solicit people for money.

This is how they are building their own profiles. Then turning around and using your info to scam others......Viscious cycle.

I received a message from this phone number and did call it back. A man named "Jeff Anderson" had left the message, but I spoke to another man with a very strong accent, and he said that there were criminal charges going to be filed against me for fraud, etc. When I questioned who was the complaining party/plaintiff he said that he could not provide that information. Continued to rattle off codes and statutes, blah blah. Said I could settle this outside of court before the case was filed for a whopping $4000+! Problem is is that he had all of my personal info. hmmmm. It was a very threatening phone call calling me names, saying that my ss# would be "black listed", threatening my employment, etc. He was talking to "Jeff" at the same time he was talking to me saying "call her employer now and get the fax #, talk to her superior".  No sooner did I hang up that "Jeff" called me from 325-421-5800 and asked what I wanted to do? I pressed him about the name of the company who was pursuing and he said that he could not tell me. He is not as threatening as the other man. He also said that my superior had to call them. OK. I'll get right on that.

I did call my states Attorney General's office and filed an official complaint. They advised me to not answer these calls.

I'm at home recovering from cancer.  This idiot called my office several times and when I called for them to stop then i have been receiving call after call after call.  It took me forever to even the name of their company.  They keep calling and leaving messages.  I feel like hell and really not in the mood.  Tell these a***s to go back to their own country

Theses people keep calling me at work and telling me that I owe them  money and I need to pay it or they are taking me to court.
