note:  both the fed govt and the texas govt have fined this dork, but apparently the fines are not high enough (10k to the state, unknown amount to the feds)  to make him change his business practices.

I continue to get solicitation calls from this number (281-550-8478) even though I am on the national do not call list. So much for this law, it's not working.

Got a call from this number that woke me up Sunday morning..  Thanks a lot Tom Carmichael 281-550-8478.  Now I see it was telemarketing..

I am on a DO NOT CALL list.  This person "TOM CARMICHAEL" calls me but I cannot call them back.  281-550-8478

Well, I see that a number of you have reported him to "Do Not Call" in 2008 & 2009, but here it is 2 Apr 2010 and I just got a recorded call from 281-550-8478.  Have reported it to "Do Not Call"

Well he is still at it 12/27/09.. just got my first call.
I recently bought an OOMA free phone over DSL ( free after initial equipment purchase). It allows me to block specific callers, so I just added him to the list. This seems the best way to deal with unwanted calls.

This number got tricky by not providing caller ID but I found from phone company online to search who call.

I tried calling the number than called me and got a busy signal, so I called the number given by NativeHoustonian, and it does indeed seem to be his home number(281)855-3458 and his address is everywhere: 14310 Muirfield Ln
Houston, Tx 77095

He called my home number at 3 today, and yes we have been on the Do Not Call Registry for years. You would think the government could do something about jerks like this, but apparently not

He called again tonight at 6 PM, from 281-550-2825

5/30/08 He's still calling from yet another number (281)550-8473.  Will  donotcall.gov ever stop this guy?

Just want to amend my previous post a bit: I should say that I've been getting calls from the same CALLER, Tom Carmichael, for years. I haven't paid much attention to the actual numbers he's called from. But now I will pay closer attention to see if he calls from different ones in the future so that I can report those as well.

I JUST got (yet another) call from this number: 281-550-8478, which I've been getting for years. Finally decided to do a Google search on the number. Glad I found this page! I just went to donotcall.gov and filed a complaint. I've been getting calls from this person for years -- no message is ever left (and I never answer). I also signed up for Do Not Call about 6 months ago but calls from this number never stopped. Thanks for the heads up on calls from other numbers. I'll look out for it in the future...

Please report this to donotcall.gov so these calls will stop and Tom Carmichael will be penalized.

He used to call from 281-550-2825.  Lots of complaints on that number.  His recorded message calls our home numbers, so it's only fair that I share his home number (281)855-3458.
Report a complaint at www.donotcall.gov so the "Do Not Call" list is enforced!

This number was a pre-recorded telemarketing message from Discount Contractor Tom Carmichael. This illegal call continues to be made to a phone number that has been on the "do-not-call" list since the inception of that program.
