Annoying calls
| Kev 2014-06-19 20:53:03 Unknown |
They call me while driving in a contruction zone, did not answer. I told them I work in the NCIS Cyber Crimes depatment the last time they called me, and they do not send signals when off.

Indian woman from "Cybersupport" tells me they have received several messages from my computer and I have a virus. I recognized the scam but played along to see how far she would go. She wanted me to give her remote access to my computer. I listened to her instructions and told her I was following them, When she asked for my i.p. address, I reminded her that she said she already had it and that was how she identified that the supposed messages were coming from my computer. She then called me a b!tch and hung up. Better luck next time, Miss Patel!

Male with heavy Indian accent told me I had virus on my computer. I kept him on the phone for 20 minutes as he was "walking" me through the steps to get to www.ammyy.com. After I got tired of playing him, I told him it was a scam and hung up on him.
On YouTube, there is an Aussie who played them for over an hour. Quite funny.

Received 4 calls in one day. Decided to answer the fourth one. Said hello several times and got no response. Heard a lot of noise in the background, just hung up the phone, will not answer the next time.

(281) 593-3503 called and when I told him to remove my number from his list he said he "can't and wouldn't". When I told him I don't need to talk to a computer scammer (as this appears to the SAME Indian/Middle Eastern crack pot group as in the past), the response was "Yes, it is a scam and we can call you all we want, everyday, because money protects us from the law." I told him that "it protects the guy in the office and will do little for the people running the phone lines that know what they are doing. Then good bye". Anyway, it would be good if the phone company, feds and anyone else to put a nail in these guys.

If you fell for this contact your local computer guy and notify your internet provider. Even if you hung up they have access to your system. Microsoft does not make these type of calls.

A man with an Indian accent asked for the home owner. When I asked him to please remove me from their marketing list he replied "Go to Hell and go F*** yourself". Don't think they will be earning my business any time soon.

Caller ID said "UNAVAILABLE".
I never answer calls which do not identify themselves. Looks like this was the right thing to do.

My bad. Forgot to include the fact that names & numbers are also sold @ bulk rates to these scam artists.
| tr 2014-06-09 21:59:13 Unknown |
Your info has not been private for a very long time. Marketing companies have been selling your personal info for decades.
That would include age, average value of your home & average income for your zip code, etc., lets throw in credit reports as well . Oh. I forgot what you owe on your mortgage, or whether you rent or own. You have no privacy ! . I wont repeat what I
told this a** h***on the phone.

This is very simple people. I got the same call about an hour ago and looked up the number here to read all the comments. After giving it some thought, I came up with an idea. With the help of a hacker or programmer (of which I am not) a virus could be written and placed on a computer waiting for the next call. Since these guys are persistent, this should be easy to do. As soon as they are given remote access, the virus would upload lurid pictures of Muhammad (not sure on spelling, don't care) with one locked as the screen saver. When co-workers see it, they will have to declare a jihad on them and stone them or whatever they do. We read about it on the internet and have satisfaction of knowing who was behind it and no one will want to work there anymore. Problem solved.

A guy with heavy indian accent asked to speak with my husband by name.
Told him my husband is not available... who is calling? Caller told me his name but i didn't pay attention. hard to understand his accent.Said he was calling because there was an issue with our microsoft program on our computer. I then asked him if my husband had called him in regards to this problem and he said no,that he could tell there was a problem because it was blinking! I said to this dude ....are you kidding me? the technical verbiage you're using is blinking? Blinking? You can't come up with anything better than blinking? Then I proceeded to tell him he's a scammer and this phone call is a scam situation and he kept interrupting me by saying...... Lady you talk too much and repeated saying... lady you talk too much, lady you talk too much, lady you talk too much! told him I have his number on my caller ID and I'm calling the police now and then he hung up!

Hello, but they can't take you off their" call list" because they are scammers and are disreputable. They are not legit. Next time they call you, blast a bullhorn into the receiver of your phone!

This number called and the I.D. shows Cleveland, Texas. The man who said "Hello" back when I answered sounded like a DIRTY LITTLE Hindu. There was no further answer because this dungbeetle is probably trying to see if the person who answered sounds like an old person, so that he can then fool them by saying that their computer is screwed up, so then they can tell him their passwords, etc. Duh! If you do this the little terrorist will take over your computer. Don't be stupid and gullible.
DON'T BE FOOLED PEOPLE! This cow dung vermin is probably calling from overseas and is using the fake number as a cover. Quit being so civil to these lice and cuss them out whenever they call you!! Then threaten them with Guantanamo Bay if they ever dare call you again!

These guys say I have a problem with my Microsoft computer. Told them I had Lenovo and they hung up. Next time I M to give them them a false IP address. I think it's time we started calling
households and business numbers in India and ripping them off.

Same descriptions as above - said his site was Cybersupport, if I didn't work with him my site would become inoperable quickly - he said he had monitored my internet and he was licensed by Microsoft. - didn't back down.

Called by a man with an Indian accent. He said he was from "cyber security" and wanted me to get on my computer because it was sending signals to them that there was windows problem. When asked which computer, he just wanted me to get on one. When I said no, he told me to go to hell.

They called back around 7:00pm, so I answered and when the girl from India told me she was from Cyber Security, calling about my computer, I told her I don't own a computer. She said, "Oh, okay" and hung up, so I'm hoping they will take me off their call list. :-)

Was called today by number claiming to be tech support. Always someone with an English name but clearly an Indian accent. Usually the number as a z in it so I don't answer. Today I asked if she would like to talk to the FBI instead and she called me an idiot. Yeah I'm the idiot!
