They called stating to be lawyers. Even used my maiden name, although I have been married a while. Weird.

It is GULF COAST REGIONAL BLOOD CENTER and they admittedly give your phone number to a "telemarketing type" firm.  They call you daily, sometimes more than once daily with automated calls wanting blood....You have to call one of the actual centers and tell them you are being hounded like a creditor and request they take your number off their lists.

So I get 5 calls from this number 281/661-3990 and 2 voice mails, all today.  The lookup says it's Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center - fine.  Only I don't live anywhere near a coast, I've never given blood and the number they call is a cell phone.  Why they calling me?  BUT those 2 voice mails BOTH say they are calling from Dynamic Recovery Solutions.  Since this is the ONLY number on my cell phone at the time of these calls wouldn't that mean that this number is actually this debt collector?  Sneaky as that may be it also ticks me off cause I don't have any outstanding debts.

I just wish that 1) they wouldn't call at 8p AND on weekends and 2) they wouldn't call 10,000x.  I spoke with them on SUNDAY assuring the lady that I would make an appointment to donate when I had the time but the calls persist.

Also, could they have the balls to identify themselves on caller ID?

I can't give blood because I've spent a lot of time in England and France and eaten my fair share of beef (risk of mad cow). But still they calll.  Caller ID is "Unknown".

You will need to call them directly. This is a forum to report these types of calls not a place to have your number removed from someone's calling list. (not sure what being diabetic or a cancer survivor has to do with a thing)

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. I gave blood and continue to do so when it is available at work but they call way too often. I just called back and asked to be removed from the call list. No problem.

Their purpose is the complete opposite of everything you think. Gulf Coast is a Blood Donation Center that helps people from all over. Maybe you donated blood a while ago and they are in short supply of blood your type.

I get these calls (and numerous emails) like clock work every 8 weeks.  Really!?!?  I've been giving blood for a while now; I don't need the annoying calls to remind me, then the 3-4 calss after thanking me, and the dozens of emails reminding me and the 3-4 emails thanking me.  ONE email reminding me it is time is sufficient.

GULF COAST? Unknown caller. This call fell down in my home al 8:00 PM after a hard day.  I was just beginning to rest SLEEPING when it happened. They didn't even left a message. Whoever did it has no mother at all. They don't even show a minimum respect for others rights. I hope a lighting breake them down.
