Called and hung up

They call and just hang up.

this number has called us 5 times and hangs up
every time we answer

Just called and got my answering machine.  they did not leave a message.  I added the number to my blocked list on my cordless phone

Has called twice and hung up both times.  When called back, no one answers.

These people keep calling and leave no message.  I can't get through when I call back.  I looked up on whitepages.com and it gave a location out by Katy Mills Mall - but cant find any other information.

I hung up because I suspected fraud.

I just received a call stating they were working with the state trooper association. They wanted to verify my address, but when i questioned in regards to a contact number...the gentlemen gave me the run around still never responded with contact information to return his call.

I got a call from this number. Funny thing is, the call was made to my dads' house. I no longer live with my dad but when I did, we had a different home number. I got the number off his caller I.D and tried to call. The call went straight to a recording saying that the number was temporarily out of service, please try again later I104. Schmucks.

Got a call from same number. No response to my hello. Called the number and got a recording that the phone number was unavailable at this time.

Got a call from this exact number at 10:15 A.M. The guy on the phone asked for me by name. When my wife said I wasn't home and asked if he wanted to leave a message the guy just hung up. My wife called me at work and gave me the number off of our caller I.D. and I tried calling the number back. I get a message saying that the number is temporarily out of service. Somewhat disturbing that the guy knew my name.

When I answered and said hello they said a name they should not have known, then they started to say that it was the Texas State Troopers and wanted to know where my contribution was...

I saw it is in Katy, TX and it is a landline...

I am receiving mail now from these people asking for the money I pledged
If you look at the small print you see that the company is a telemarketing company called Courtesy One, Inc.  I am reporting them. You report them too!

This sounds like it's a telemarketer scheme. They simply call you and then hang up just to see when you answer the phone. Next  time just ignore it!

Received phone call from 281-712-7498; could not answer it; the caller did not leave a message.  I called them; phone rang and rang and was never answered. I called back severals hours later, then  line was busy!

Telemarkerter Solicitating Funds for the Police and Firefighters Widow Fund.  They call from several other numbers such as 281-576-1275 and 281-751-8457 both come up listed as listed as Baytown, TX.  In my opinion, if this was legitiment, they would have the Caller ID properly identify themselves.  BEWARE...this is a Telemarketer calling you and NOT an actual orginization.
