Report them to www.IC3.gov. They investigate scams like this.
Also, to make your life more peaceful, get a call-blocker. The ones from your service provider cost only a few dollars a month, and if the person is calling your cellphone and it runs apps, you might already have several free ones to choose from. See my post on whocallsme for (305) 918-2338 for more information.

continue to get calls about a returned item, which we do not EVER have, and that I must call them before legal action is taken. They will not stop calling me everyday.

I definitely believe this is a total scam to try and phish for information. They kept calling saying that they were going to serve me and that it had to do with a property that I owned. That's the thing is that I don't own any property whats so ever. I called them back a few times and they never answered.

Same message about a returned check but I have 5 figure overdraft protection.
This is a total scam.

Just got a call from this number as well. do not call the 800 number they give back...the caller ID is a "spoof" (number they use to trick your caller ID into not displaying the telemarketer's REAL number) ... an automatic message played after almost a minute of dead silence...saying i had a returned check on my bank account (though it didn't give a bank name) and to call to resolve this matter. OBVIOUSLY they are phishing for your bank account information.
