Same heavily accented man. He called and left me a message saying that I owed them money and the issue was time sensitive. I called them back and told them that I had just been with my Attorney and I didn't owe them anything, and if they called me again I would press charges and sue them. He said that he liked my confidence and to give them 45 minutes. I interrupted and told them I wasn't giving them anything and again stated that if they called me one more time I would sue them for fraud and harassment and then hung up on them. Please do not fall for their scam and report them as soon as possible.

SAme as above, staing from a Houston law firm. I had similar call from a NY number yesterday.

This guy called and once I realized who it was; they've called before; I started make moaning sounds.  When he asked what was the noise, I told him both his mother and sister were pleasuring me...while eating pork.  He dropped an f-bomb and then hung up.

SOME GUY WHO CAN BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH, STATING HE IS FROM HOUSTON LAW FIRM IN THE FIRST MESSAGE AND ON THE SECOND MESSAGE (SAME NUMBER) STATED THEY ARE FROM SOME OTHER COMPANY, JUNK CALL

I did take a loan out but this guy never could give me exact information. He wants me to buy a green dot 14 digit card to pay them with so that none of my personal information is at jeopardy. I am waiting to hear back from the company my loan was actually through before I make any payments. It is almost harassing how they talk to you and they wont stop calling!

These scammers actually called my place of work saying I owed them money and they were going to freeze my bank account. I called them back and said I was loaded, how much do you want? The idiot said $1,000. I said oh sure you F%$#ing A$%@hole? He hung up on me! Couldn't believe they called my work number, my boss just hung up on them. They have had calls like this before.  Anyways you can't go to jail over debt, and you can't be arrested over debt. They threaten people and it scares them into paying them DON'T DO it! They are definitley scammers. In the phone call they made to me they stated they would tell my employers about my past. HA! I have no criminal record (I did bounce a check ONE TIME), have always worked full time to support myself and daughter. I'm a single mother who have survived cancer. Well if that's what they want to share then so be it!

Harassing calls wanting my lawyer's information because an affidavit has supposedly been filed against me by a company claiming to have loaned me money when they didn't.   The accents are the same as a scammer who kept calling telling me their company would loan me 10 grand if I bought $200 worth of loan insurance.   I finally told that guy to leave me alone because that was just a scam,  now these jokers are calling!   RIDICULOUS!!

I hung up on the guy after he asked if I had an attorney and he had the nerve to call me back and say the IRS would be at my door in 45 minutes and I said, don't call me back again or I will be at your house in 45 minutes and I hung up.  I don't understand how they get away with this non sense.  

A man named Attorney Mike Davidson called and stated that owed money

scam scam scam!  Threats to take me to court and freeze my bank account.  He said I don't have to pay him money, just get a pre-paid card with money on it and give him the card info then he would release who I owe money to.  I hope nobody falls for this and I'm reporting him as well.

I have received the exact same thing or message word for word.  I have told them that threats of arrest and calling my work after being informed not to are illegal by state and federal law.  They have told my employer who they are and why they are calling, after being warned.  I would like to file charges.  How do I go about that since they refuse to give me and address?  They refuse to provide the information of the company until I pay them a deposit.  When I also informed them that thier client (Cash Net) had called me and offered to give me $5,000 in a loan.  The person told me that those people and that company was a fraud, and not to give them any money.  They will be returning my call tomorrow.

I had a voicemail from (couldnt understand the name) demanding that I immediately return the call as legal action was pending against my social number. First off, you have the right to demand someone that speaks English and/or Spanish if that is your language (violation #1). Second, he refused to identify what the investigation was about, and to give me his name, name of company, and the address of the company (violation # 2). Then I explained I was a Texas Paralegal and that the whole courthouse knew who I was and where I worked (right across the street) and if there was any type of litigation against me that he could just have it delivered. He then began to tell me that I was in jeapordy of jail time and I said "HAVE A NICE DAY" idiot and blocked that number. This IS a SCAM!!! Do not pay these idiots even if they do know the last four of your social whatever you do dont verify any information

got the same call. he said my soc sec was being investigated and that they will be at my door step. but if i wanted to settle out of court i should call their legal dept.

I just had the same thing happen.  When I asked them to send me information they said I would be receiving it shortly and hung up.  Do you know anything more about this?

Keep getting calls from this number.  Finally called back and I recorded the call.  When I told him I was in bankruptcy and all of my debts had been included, "Brian Sheppard"  said this debt didn't fall under US Bankruptcy Law and he was going to subpoena me, call my employer and send the cops after me within 45 minutes.  He wouldn't tell me his company name and etc when I asked.  I told him that he "was full of it" and I knew they were fraudulent.  That is when he dropped the F bomb and hung up on me.

These scammers call my  number frequently to say that they have a legal case against  me for fraud and that my Social Security is being investigated. They use names like Ray or Shay Carter (hard to understand their broken english) They refuse to give their adress and they are from the same area of nationality as the Scammer loan companies you will find online.  I'm tired of these people being allowed to continue their illegal activities in this country!

I received the same calls from different numbers same guy with heavy accent and same claim. So I decided to turn the tables and play their game. The third call of the day I answered my phone listened to his threats and when he finished talking I told him I was working with the FBI and was instructed to record his call and keep him on the line as long as possible so he could be located. I told him it was good for us that couldn't shut up with his threats because The FBI was about to take down his little scamming business and he would be making license plates or being someone's bi*** in prison. Have not received another call. But gladly welcome the calls because with each complaint we get closer to taking these idiots down. File a complaint with FBI Internet and communication division and the government office for the Fair Credit Act. Good luck everyone. Never Never give them any information, if they are legit they should have all your information.

This man named Brain Shepard keeps calling from this number.  he's from Houston Law firm and that I committed fraud for a loan that I didn't take out. He says that my information will be giving to the local police and that they will contact my employers and tell them that I committed fraud. I believe that it is the same man that everyone else is posting about.

I'm getting 20-50 calls a day from this man saying I owe for an Internet payday loan and he need my attorney information.  When I ask him the payday loan company he said it will be released once my attorney contacts them. Once I began to cuss him out he hung up. Got a email 3  weeks ago with threats against me and my family which I reported it to my local police and was told it was a scam. The call msg and the email both was left by an Arabic accent man.

This guy if an Arabic accent has been harassing me since March 30,2014demanding that I give him my banking info. I told him unlesshe gives me the name of the comcompany and the acaccount number don't call me with this crap. If he keeps leaving me voice mail messages trying to impersonate a state agency I will have him sued

They called me on my cell.  I called them back after already knowing it was a scam.  The guy that answered gave a fake name and company, david menbez, lanier law firm.  He said he was part of some cash advance company.  After calling him out, he threw out nothing but profanities.  I hung up.
