The person that called me from this phone threatened me with a lawsuit for some debt I know nothing of. He, in broken English, would not tell me what the debt was, how much the debt is for, or whom I am indebted to, but rather threatened me on the phone. I have filed a complaint with the FTC for this threat, as I am also on the Do Not Call list.

yea these ppl been calling my close friends and asking questions about me they had all my information and yes there scam artists and im goin to file charges against them. They calim to be american lotter bullS**t.

yes I just received a call from this same piece of s**t Indian. however the number appeard on my caller ID as 786786. very thick accent could not understand at all claims to be "Michael" and that if I ignore his call and disregard calling him back I will have a very nasty leagl battle on my hands and that he prays for me. F this guy. he immediately called back AFTER leaving me a voice mail and said he called and the line was disconnected.....F ing liar......do not call back. If there is a class action law suit I want in on it.

Yeah I just received another call from them at my work, they say that it is a emergancy so I called back and it was some guy that does not speak very good english. I told him that I have looked them up on the internet (his response was OH YOU HAVE LOOKED US UP) and I told him that I knew this was a scam and if he called me again that I would be getting a hold of the feds on them. This is scary and dont know how he had my SSN and all my information.

caller called my wife and said something about a lawsuit in horrible english, then they called one of her friends and told her friend to call her... thats a little weird and im not sure how the caller knew her acquaintances...

I just spoke with my boss, who happens to be an attorney, and we are going to try and put together a class action lawsuit against these people. I have been receiving the same calls.

Somebody with a very thick Indian accent claiming his name to be Richard Johnson calling, telling me that he is from American Law Division stating that a legal application has matched up to my name and attorney has decided to move forward with my case and  I will get a call from court within 48 hours and a sheriff will appear at my doorstep and my references and employer will get a subpoena to appear, would I take care of my case or they will take care of legal procedures.  They wished me the best of luck as the situation unfolds on me.

This is ridiculous!!

I have been receiving calls from this number and left a message several times persistently. Yes from a an indian accent man who claimed that i have a case that i have to attend within days or so. I get these sort of call at my cell phone and at my job even.

I have been receiving NON-STOP calls from this number this morning (11/19/10).  I answered one time - I could barely understand the man on the phone.  He asked for my lawyers name and number saying something about a lawsuit pending against me.  I did tell the gentleman not to call me again or I would report to my local authorities.  Didn't deter him but as I write this I have not received another call.

a guy called saying his name was edwin walker with american law division (no way was that his name -he could barely speak english)saying I owed a 10,000 dollar debt to america cash advance.  Total BULLSH*T.

Just recevieved a call from this guy who left a message on my voicemail.  He had all of my husbands information.  SS#, address, etc.  Said I owed $9,000 to Cash Advance America for a debt we never paid from 2009.

Received a call from a Kevin Johnson.  When I called the number back, I spoke with a David Cooper who lied through the entire conversation.  He told me that I was going to be on a "state recorded" line, that the court would call me with a date and time to appear (I used to be a district court clerk and this would never happen), then he said that the sherriff's office would show up at my job, and when I started to question him and tell him that I couldn't understand him, he asked me if I wanted to speak with his d*ck because it spoke perfect English.  After giving him a piece of my mind, I came back to work to search the number.  I too am filing complaints.  Let them come trying to serve me with a lawsuit.  They will get their a$$e$ handed to them.

I have now received 2 calls from this number at my work.  Both calls were from callers with indian accents, I couldn't understand the first man's "name", but the 2nd call was from "Justin Pierce".  They said they were with the Department of Law & Investigation", and that if I did not call them back immediately, they could only wish me good luck as the situation unraveled around me.  They called 3 times in a row this morning, back to back, and on the 3rd call I told them this was an office line and not to ever call it again.  No calls since then.

this is a scam artist. there plan is to call you get you woried than call you back later and offer to let you settle the clame by sending money by western union DO NOT SEND MONEY you do not actuly owe money. i called them on it and they got pised and hung up i continued to call them anouther 15 times each time just getting them madder and madder till the finely started yelling aboiut screwing my mother. i have turned this phone number in to the FBI. if you get a call frome this number DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY AND TURN IT OVER TO THE FBI. do not give them any information about yourself.  ohhhh and the also have difrent numbers. one thing to know is that if this was ligit you wouldnt be getting notified by phone this kind of leagle matter would be sent to you in the mail.

I recieved a phone call this morning (12-14-10) from a man who spoke in an indian accent with the name of Richard Roberts saying my husbands SS# is under investigation.  When asked why he transferred me to another man with an indian accent said his name was David Cooper.  He said he had and outstanding balance from US Cash Advance from Oct. of 2009 that I had no idea about we never recieved a deposit or dealt with this company before.  He threatened us with a lawsuit and all kinds of stuff.  We were able to get the name of the law firm hes said he was with which was American Law Firm but would never give us an address.  Anyway we reported to FTC and out bank about this since they had the information and also made experian crediting agency aware of this scam for our credit report.  I hope if anyone else gets this call DO NOT give them any money it is a scam!

Don't get panic.. and no need to scare... we got a huge success to drag and trap the area and as of know intelligence wing is working on it.. we got a location of these cyber criminals in north and west India and one location is find out in pakistan also, we have discussed this matter with indian foreign deptt delegation.

Received a call today from "Rober Black". He was harrassing co-workers & being very threatening. They already know how to deal w/these people because they have been calling off & on from diff #'s & diff company names. VERY THICK accents as well.... Don't talk to them at all because all they will do is make threats & verbally abuse you.

So my story begins today or so I thought it had begun today. My sister calls me in a panic at work saying some creepy guy keeps calling her saying that i'm under investigation for using her SS# in a fraudulent way. So then I checked my voice mail finally to see if I had any messages from those jerk offs and go figure these numbnuts had been leaving me their phoney bologna messages since 12/08/2010! With their horrible indian accents and fake run of the mill american names instead of their real names like Sanjay or Apuhihdaaohfdmloadrudajpdreupoa.....haha! First I received a message from a so called ACS Affadavit Services at a diff number 347-434-2535 saying that my brother had used my name or SS# in some type of fraudulent manner and so he and/or I needed to call ASAP to take care of it before the supposed fake debt was my problem. Then I received even more ridiculous phone calls from Richard Johnson and Richard Thompson and Justin Gibbs or Gibson ( I couldn't really understand what he was saying) but this guy said that my SS# was under investigation after I supposedly applied for a loan of some sort and that I needed to call them immediately and the retard ends his calls with this following gem, "...all I can do is wish you good luck as this situation completely unfolds on you...take care, good bye." what a flippin loser! Who the hell do they think they're fooling w that poorly written garbage!? I couldn't trap a crackhead w that line! Then these suckers start bugging my mother saying that they "downloaded" a case against my mom on my behalf because she used my SS# fraudulently!!! These suckers can't even keep their story straight. I reported them to FTC and i'm not losing any sleep over that garbage! I hope those losers come on here and read this so they can see how stupid and unconvicing they really are!

They have my full SS number, name, address, etc..... Scary. I yelled at the guy, told him I knew it was a scam and I know his name is not "Mike Anderson", and I know there's no lawsuit. He just yelled right back at me, though I couldnt understand a word. He said something about an investigation and police. I hung up on him, he called back, told me "you just make mistake for you life". I reported it to the FTC, i dont know if that will do any good, it looks like these a***oles have been doing this for years. I guess I'll sign up for some sort of credit monitoring service or something, and live with the knowledge that these scumbags know everything about me.

I have gotten the same call twice this year.  I ignored the first one.  The second one I looked up and found this information.  I tried to call the number but get a fast busy signal.  No they can't speak english and yes they threatened me with arrest, contact of references and call my job.  I don't work, I could use 3 hots and a cot for a few days.  I just wish they could find someone to speak and understand english so I could tell them what I think.

I KEEP GETTING CALLS SAYING THAT I AM GOING TO BE SERVED WITH COURT PAPERS, BLAH, BLAH. NOTHING EVER HAPPENS. I WOULD LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THIS PERSON.

Just received a call from this number.  He stated his name was Mike Anderson.  Mike Anderson has a very heavy India accent.  He called my cell and my work number claiming they have a lawsuit against my SS# for some payday loan that I did not pay in the past.  They are illegal as hell.  When I told him to send me a debt validation letter in writing he refused.  When I told him that he is no longer to call me at work, he continued to argue with me.  I repeatedly told him "do not call me at work and send me a debt validation letter within 5 days".  After saying this to him about 6-7 times, he told me to shut the f^&k up.

I have been receiving calls from this number telling me I have to be at court the next morning because I did not pay back a payday loan. But I have not had a payday loan that has not been paid back. I believe these people are computer hackers and are getting people information from other sites.

Wow this is so helpful!!! i got a call today saying my kids would be taken away and a cop will be at my doorstep i called a debt collector lawyer because i heard they can not harass you like this if you owe them money and you can counter sue. the lawyer said they can do anything because it is just a scam, they called me a million times in a row all middle eastern people. next time i am going to play along and give them fake information! i wonder what would happen. i am a bit confused about the google voice? are you saying to make a google voice number and call them from it telling them i changed my number? and keep my old one that?

The number comes up on my phone as 00000 or 7867, just like 3 or 4 numbers. i wish i could stop this!
