This is crazy.  They called all the time. Worse than telemarketing.  Fund raising though telemarketing is not appropriate.  Should be restricted to mail only.

This number calls my house several times a day.  I am on a do not call registry.

we got 2 phone calls from the same company but oddly enough  same company 2 different phone numbers so i actually looked the name up and apparently its for people that are police officers hmm odd but still its like a dont mess with it kinda thing

I got a call from this number and it's a scam!!!!  These people should be stopped!!!

Believe it or not. . .it's not a scam.  I found the Texas Fraternal Order of Police website, and contacted the Fundraiser executive.  I was getting the same calls, and they kept hanging up on me.  E-mailed him the number and problem.  He was polite and sent a very speedy response.

Apparently, they have just switched to a new system, and have been having problems with connections, which explains the hang-ups.  This is part of their annual fundraiser.  

Non-profits can call you legally.

If I collect $1000 "for the needy" and give "the needy" $10 of the $1000 that I collect, it still doesn't make it right or moral, even if I make a website.

called me too just now.. saying he's from the texas fraternal state police... wanting to speak to a 'priscilla' i was like.. umm you're full of s**t take me off your list.... then hung up..

It's a scam, these old guys call and say its to donate to your local police department but they're not legit keep in mind, there is a FOP but it isn't these guys. DONT PICK UP THE PHONE.

called me too.. said he's from the texas fraternal state police...I told him "it's unlegal stupid way to harassing people like that, if you are really nothing to do just go back home f***ing your mom's a**hole..." then he hand up. I did report this harassing call to 911 and call them back tell them what I did,they said "so sorry ...will remove my Number from their list ...so far no more harassing call from that number:)  Those trush making our United States even more chaotic so we have to Violent riposte

They're calling to do fundraising for the Texas Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number back. It directed you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. There’s also information on texasfop.org. Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.

It seems like the FOP is doing a lot of really great things for police officers and their families. These people that are calling are trying to help them raise money so they can keep up their good work.

It's a scam. Do not give them money.  They are scammers.

they called and i didn't answered, and they left no message. on the caller id the # showed up as Frat Ord Police.

I have been getting these calls for forever,many times a day.  Before I can ask them to remove my name and number from their list, it hangs up.  I just tried call blocker and their number cannot be blocked.  I am calling the attorney general now.

Machine picked up and he left NO message. I've gotten similar calls from this number in the past -- same thing every time.

No message left.  Hung up after 4 rings.

Keeps calling however I have never picked up the phone.  Please be careful some homes have been broken into soon after some of the calls.
